25.01.2022 Kids Moving is back this Friday 5.30pm! And we want you to come and try for free. As our flyer says, this is a skill-based program where boys and girls have fun moving, playing and co-operating without the anxiety of competition. All abilities and ages are welcome. But be warned: you will be required to participate in our Chicken Dance. Parents and carers included!!!!

25.01.2022 Look who dropped in to see us today. Thank you councillors Daniel Mackrell, John Zobec, Colleen Gates and Adrian Weston. You're always welcome.

23.01.2022 Did somebody say table tennis? Our first evening of social table tennis for experienced and not-so-experienced players is on Thursday evening at 7pm. Bring along your team of 3, or just yourself. Cost is just $5 per attendee. Oh, and if you've got a favourite bat, bring it along with your smile.

23.01.2022 The Victorian Government is developing a new youth strategy to make our state the best place for young people. Have your say by participating in an online youth forum for people living in Campaspe, Bendigo, Loddon and surrounds on November 24, at 4PM. You can register young people through this link https://zoom.us//regi/tJ0qd-igqjovHNxKBrkU3nyhT_VN3LCwNDfB

23.01.2022 Here's a young man going places. If you're a supporter of Kyabram Youth Club then you're invited to enjoy Bodhi's talents live at our Christmas event on Monday from 5pm. You can also purchase a signed copy of his new EP, which we're betting will become a valuable commodity in years to come.

22.01.2022 Congratulations to Kyabram Development Group and Campaspe Shire Council for their initiative to explore what Kyabram's future could be. The partners are seeking our community's ideas on what makes this town great, and how we can make it better. It's time to stand up and have your say on this great town.

20.01.2022 It was great to back at Kyabram Youth Club today with these stars.

20.01.2022 Let’s stay connected at this time.

20.01.2022 UPDATE While Victoria is heading in the right direction with COVID-19, and there are further easing of restrictions, unfortunately Kyabram Youth Club's activities are still curtailed. Indoor sport is still located within the Government's last step. We hope for a return as soon as possible, when safe to do so.

18.01.2022 Young basketballers celebrated their final night for 2019 at Kyabram Youth Club. We are in awe of these young people!

17.01.2022 All programs at Kyabram Youth Club are ceased until further notice. This includes Kung Fu and basketball. We have made this decision following the announcement by Prime Minister Scott Morrison tonight that there is to be a shutdown of non-essential services across the state from tomorrow. ... We thank you for your support, and hope that we will be in a position to resume in the future. Stay strong and healthy.

16.01.2022 Definitely recommended viewing. Bodhi is our star performer at our Christmas celebration on Monday 16th starting at 5pm. All supporters of KYC are welcome to come along and enjoy Bodhi's music and relax, and/or try their hand at a multitude of small court games. Free. Just bring along your food and drink and outdoor chair - and Christmas cheer.

16.01.2022 Advice from Victoria’s Chief Health Officer, Doctor Brett Sutton about looking after chldren during the school holidays.

14.01.2022 How exciting to be announcing the details for basketball's return to Kyabram! It's an 8-week program outdoors at Kyabram P-12 College, starting Monday 12th. Thank you Kyabram P-12 College! What would we have done without you! Now that's community support! Exisiting and new players are welcome to join our program to learn and play. Phone 0414 815 527 or email [email protected] for more information.

12.01.2022 Whoo hoo! Basketball's Back! Where: Kyabram P-12 College Haslem Campus. When: Next Monday afternoon. More details coming! Spread the word!

12.01.2022 All set for our new term of basketball for boys and girls aged 5-14 years old! More fun, and skills learning in a safe environment. DM or email [email protected] for more information and to reserve your child's place.

11.01.2022 Look what arrived today at Kyabram Youth Club. Can't wait to see our Kung Fuers do their stuff this term. It will also be so good for our Kids playgroups. Thank you Campaspe Shire Council for your generous support of this project.

11.01.2022 Do you have a vision for Kyabram? Or perhaps you have an idea for improvement? Then go to this link and have your say anonymously, with no fear of judgement. Kyabram needs ideas to grow. And the more ideas that are gathered from all areas of our community the better.... An indoor swimming pool? Improved services for people experiencing mental challenge, improved internet speed, improved recreation facilities, more tourist attracting offers? https://campaspeshire.mysocialpinpoint.com.au/kyabra/ideas

11.01.2022 Empowering kids through basketball. Every Monday for children aged 5-14.

10.01.2022 Hi there Kyabram Youth Club community, With the Government announcing that all Indoor sports venues can be opened with up to 10 people per group or activity, and up to 20 people allowed per separate enclosed space from June 22, we are considering a resumption of activities at KYC at the start of Term 3. However, as always, the health, safety and wellbeing of our community continues to be our highest priority, so we will be watching very closely for more guidance from the Gove...rnment. Our first step 'back', however, is the creation of a dedicated Facebook Group for our basketballers. This is where news and events, like Facebook Live training, will now be hosted. We invite you to join our Group if you love basketball and want to see it grow in our great community.

08.01.2022 Check out this step back in time. Yes, Kyabram Youth Club has been part of our community for a very long time. In fact, Kyabram Boys Club was formed in 1950, and changed to Kyabram Youth Club in 1954. Thanks Lost Kyabram for unearthing this photo.

07.01.2022 We're proud to have received the support of Campaspe Shire Council, which tonight recognised our mission of empowering youth through Kung Fu by presenting our committee with a grant for $2000. The grant will be used to purchase floor mats. Thank you Campaspe Shire council.

05.01.2022 After a successful Come and Try event last week, we are excited to announce that our Kids Moving Club will take flight this Friday for an 8-week term. We have found that some children find organised sport a challenge. Kids Moving takes the anxiety out of the 'sport' experience. We focus on building fundamental sport skills for all children using a mix of individual stations and group play and having fun. While we want kids to dive in this Friday, we also welcome parents to bring along their kids and watch the session. Phone 0414815527 for more information.

05.01.2022 In the face of escalating COVID-19 pressures, our committee has decided to cease our basketball program until further notice. While there has been no instance of Coronavirus within our community to this point, we have made this decision to help slow the spread of the virus. These are extraordinary times which call for extraordinary measures.... I thank you for your patience and understanding. We hope that we will be in a position to return. Stay healthy, Michael Maskell (Kyabram Youth Club President)

05.01.2022 This happened at Kyabram Youth Club yesterday morning! Our first 0-4 playgroups in our new soft equipment play room were a hit. Thank you Claire Keating for making this happen for families. We will offer two Monday morning sessions and we are open to other sessions, including older age groups. Just let us know your needs.

04.01.2022 Empowering kids through Kung Fu. 5pm every Wednesday, if you're curious.

03.01.2022 A big final night of term is planned for our young basketballers tomorrow night, including snag in bread and drink for all participants! Our senior division teams will play a round robin to decide who wins bragging rights. All players are requested to be ready for the start of the rapid-fire matches at 6.30pm.

02.01.2022 Merry Christmas one and all. We were so privileged to have young local musician Bohdi Hawken and that jolly man Santa Claus join us for our Christmas party. Bohdi's new accoustic EP 'The Bohdi Tree' is now available on Spotify and iTunes.

01.01.2022 Kyabram Youth Club's basketball and Kung Fu programs will go ahead as scheduled this week. We ask that unwell participants, people who may be more vulnerable, and people who have travelled to a higher risk country, or been exposed to a person with COVID-19 in the preceding 14 days not to attend. Of course, we understand that each of us is different, and will have different needs at this time.
