25.01.2022 Welcome to December!! The beginnings of Christmas parties and celebrations. What are your KYB groups able to do to celebrate Christmas? Please post some pictures here if you have some, or share some stories of your joys or challenges throughout the year. Here is one of the KYB groups celebrating christmas... Wattle Grove KYB Meeting @ Waitara so our member from the Central coast could join us. Lovely to see each other in person & we even exchanged gifts. It was a great celebration outside of zoom.

20.01.2022 Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Knowing that we have the Almighty and Sovereign Lord walking with us all the way is a great comfort and assurance to help us get through the unknown, even though it may be difficult. It's great to be reminded of this and to encourage each other of this great promise. Praying you all have a lovely week in Christ.

16.01.2022 Our Weekly Prayer, our second week into January. May you have a great week, May our hearts, eyes and ears be open to our Lord Jesus, so that we continue to serve Christ in all that we do!

14.01.2022 Our weekly prayer... thankful for what Jesus has done for us- our Good Shepherd. John 10:11,14-18 NIV [11] I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. [14] I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me--- [15] just as the Father knows me and I know the Father---and I lay down my life for the sheep. [16] I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. [17] The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life---only to take it up again. [18] No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father. Have a beautiful week everyone, may you find Joy in serving the Lord.

11.01.2022 A long prayer below, but a helpful prayer as we begin 2021. May you continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind, may we continue to walk closely with the Lord in 2021. Happy New Year to you all!!! Our Weekly prayer from Charles Spurgeon Especially would we make mention of the goodness of the Lord during another year. Each believer here has trodden a different pathway. To some it has been a very smooth road, to others a very rough climb: to some a deep ...descent into the valley of sorrow and humiliation. But Thou hast led Thy people by a right way. With all the twisting of a wilderness march, we are persuaded that when Thou leadest us about, still we go the nearest way. Thou knowest best, and oftentimes to retreat is to advance, and to be beaten back is to make surest headway. We would again in the recollection of the whole year, whatever it may have been, lift up the song of grateful praise, raise another stone of help to record the loving-kindness of our God. And now do we hoist sail and draw up anchor to sail into another year. O Thou blessed Pilot of the future as of the past, we are so happy to leave all to Thee; but in leaving all to Thee we have one wish, and it is that Thou wouldst in the next year glorify the Father’s name in us more than in any other year of our lives. Perhaps this may involve deeper trial, but let it be if we can glorify God. Perhaps this may involve the ending of all life’s pleasant work and the being taken home well, Thy children make no sort of stipulations with their God. But this one prayer ascends from all true hearts this morning, Father, glorify Thy name. Will you glorify Thyself, great Father, by making us more holy. Purge us every day, we ask Thee, from the selfishness that clings to us. Deliver us from the fear of man, from the love of praise and approval so far as these might lead us astray.... Strengthen your servants for the battles of another year. Give them courage for all the trials, give them grace for all the joys. Help us to be a holy and a happy people! Let the redeemed of the Lord speak well of His name, and whatever their distress may be at times yet over all may they lift up notes of perpetual joy, glorifying in the name of the Lord their God." (The Pastor at Prayer)

10.01.2022 Hello Ladies! Hope your week has started off well and you’ve been able to stay cool. In light of Australia Day tomorrow our weekly prayer comes from the First Aboriginal Anglican Bishop and his wife. Through the Holy Spirit May we continue to shine Jesus in our lives so that people from all nations may be reconciled with Jesus! ... Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

09.01.2022 As we look back into our week, we recognise that we haven’t always loved God with our whole heart, soul and mind, and we haven’t always loved our neighbour as ourselves. It’s important for us to repent and be sorry for the things we’ve done, but also for the things that we should have done but didn’t. Thankfully we have an amazing God, who freely forgives us when we turn to him, and we are washed clean because of the precious blood of Jesus. Johann Arndt wrote a prayer of forgiveness. May we continue to love, honour and glorify God in all that we say, think and do. Have a lovely week serving the Lord with gladness!!

03.01.2022 Seasons of change and uncertainty often bring us to ask some challenging questions. For Tracey, the question she was asking was: What does God want me to be doing during this period? God's answer came through her four-year-old grandson. So, what does God want us to be doing? Be encouraged by our latest blog post https://cwciaus.org.au/what-does-god-want-me-to-be-doing/
