17.01.2022 Today we had lots of things going on. First up this morning we went for a short walk to let the chickens out, collecting the eggs and feed them some grain. The children learned how to scoop the grain from the big blue bin onto the ground. After coming back from the chickens Mr W found some pine cones and asked if we could pick them up and out them in a box to play with later. The children used there imagination playing with the pine cones by "selling" them in their shop. Aft...er lunch we thought it would be a great idea to make some bracelets for both me and their mum. This taught the children fine motor skills by placing the beads onto the pipe cleaner one at a time. After rest time we went back outside to play, Will rode the small bike up and down the big hill and Ivy watched whilst playing with the dolls in the shade. Mr W was telling me about the different animals he was finding in the animal box and telling me all the different colors that they were. Miss I spent the afternoon playing outside, going shopping with the dolls. See more

12.01.2022 Over the last few weeks we have been busy with making Anzac biscuits, doing painting, playing on the new fort outside, threading with wool through pasta. 11.01.2022 This week we had a lot of things going on, to start the week off we had a new friend join us. YAY, but besides from that we also had an amazing opportunity to see baby chickens in their first couple days of life, we will be watching them for the next couple weeks as they grow, we also were able to collect the eggs from the older chickens in the coop with our woven basket. As Australia Day is fast approaching this week we also took a step back in time and made a Damper loaf from scratch which the kids enjoyed for afternoon tea.

08.01.2022 Good afternoon, last week we had a new little friend join our team here at Kylees Family Day Care. He settled in very well with the other children and we had a ball playing throughout the day; we raced our cars up and down the big hill and had delicious morning tea inside whilst listening to music. After nap time we played with cars inside as it was to hot outside to play. 05.01.2022 Happy Friday Today we went to busy butterflies garden for play group We found a big boat, meet new friends. We went digging with trucks, made numbers out of play dough, found different things in the sencery box. We had morning tea once we were finished we feed the animals our left overs, and watch the pig playing in the mud. We had lots of fun exploring the garden.
