25.01.2022 To any of my friends who I have on my other profile - Kylies Gluten-Free Baking. My account has been closed down by facebook because I use a business name. Im so bloody pissed off, as I have over 2000 people on that account. It is used for business, maybe 1% of the time. I was not even given warning that this would happen. So I had no chance to change my name. Most of it is used with friends and the autism community. I have lost all of my photos, contacts, and all important information on there. So I had no chance to change my name or save any of the information on there.

18.01.2022 Zane.. He is a little beauty. His gorgeous big eyes in that superb little face, his smooth, sleek coat, his cheeky yet gentle ways make him one of the nicest k...ittens around. . See how he is so relaxed out in the cat run, he's like this all the time. .he wrestles with Sparkles the puppy and plays hide-and-seek with his kitten friends. . If we could keep him we would. .a sweet, loving and bright kitten who will acknowledge you when you speak to him, a fun loving handsome boy who will be an awesome companion. . Zane isn't a big kitten for his age, around 11 weeks so still a bub. .he's a lovely mixture of almost blonde, a touch of silver and black.. They are gluten, dairy, egg and nut free, also vegan. $13 a packet, and available from Flagstaff Hill up till zmas eve, aldinga on Wednesday 23rd, or Mile End Wednesday or Thursday. 13.01.2022 I've been so caught up in the excitement of being a first time Grandma, that I almost forgot its nearly Xmas. I will be baking my usual yummy Xmas treats again this year. Fruit Mince Pies, Xmas Puddings, Xmas Cakes and Truffles. All goodies are gluten, dairy and nut free. They will all be at 2013 price still. Pick up from Flagstaff Hill, Aldinga Beach or West Beach. 13.01.2022 A Carer is needed for a small breed dog, that will need some training before he is ready to find his new home. We are looking for a special carer in the southe...rn suburbs, who is confident and experienced with handling a small dog who can be a bit bitey at times. He will need some work with being desensitised to being groomed and being handled to be examined. Most of the time he is a lovely friendly boy but can try and bite when he doesnt want to be handled, which is not all the time. He is fine with other dogs but will need a foster home with teenaged or adult children. We do need a carer local to us so we can help with any training needed. 08.01.2022 Today Allie and I went in to meet the new interim CEO Vince Haining and LDH Board Member Prue Gillies. It was very cordial and there is definitely a keen sens...e to see a lot of change at the LDH on many platforms. Many of these will take time, sometimes months or longer to be implemented or even to see any change for the better. While there are a huge number of suggestions we could have discussed we remained focused in what the best ‘bang for your buck’ change would be in regards to the Pound and that for us in Rescue is 1. Get a photo of every stray up and on a website asap. I hope this will happen sooner than later. Reclaiming animals is one of the most important parts of sheltering. It needs to be accessible, fast, easy and affordable. It needs to be not the funnel pointing inwards, but the funnel pointing outwards. From Vince and Prue’s POV they are convinced the staff want change are desperate for change and will implement change. Having understood the dynamics of this and discussed this point with a number of people this is the single most important issue. Some will want change, some will need to be convinced of change and some will resist. Believe me it will surprise many as personal associations within any organisation becomes apparent, protecting friends and those who are in a position of perceived power it will be a struggle to drag every body together forward at once. I wish them luck. Allie and I suggested a working Alliance with other shelters, Lort Smith, RSPCA, SADS, AAPS, AA etc and to call them regularly to see who is full and who has space and share animals accordingly. If you have room for 6 cats get them over to that shelter. If you have an animal needing surgery and i.e. Lort smith can do it drop the animal off. It needs to be across the board a sharing of lives which saves lives. Again councils working to trap cats to bring cats into an already burgeoning system (Who’s For Cats) is just plain idiotic when the facility is filled already with strays why trap more? After our meeting Allie and I walked through the LDH and out to the animals, and I found it so disheartening that the barriers that went up because of me, all those years ago are still there. It was to stop me taking photos to help other rescues and breed rescues to come in and adopt an animal. The heat in these sheds with laser light over the open air wire would be intolerable. I am glad to see the sick and injured section is now in a better area that is more comfortable for the frail and ill. Vince asked us to do one thing. Allie and I thought it was to gag me on FB but no they are happy for the info to come out. The request was to share that there are 40 cats and 32 kittens needing a home, and 22 dogs up for adoption. I said yes I would share and anyone who mentions RWL 182 as a code will get a 50% discount on the adoption fee for cats, kittens and dogs. So I am going to ask you to go into the LDH, there are some beautiful LARGE dogs needing a home. And some of the cats are sublime. It is a show of good faith. While I am yet to be convinced that real change will be effected, I do believe the intent is there. By giving the animals a chance such as this (the RWL special is for a week only!) we are for the animals and want them in homes, no matter which shelter they are in. Thank you to Vince, Prue and the staff at LDH for today. You have struggle ahead and its a huge one. I wish you luck.

05.01.2022 My daughter's page Kylies Gluten-Free Baking has been closed down by Facebook. She has lost at least 2000 friends and 100's and 100's of photos because of this. They have not given her any reason for this. The page was to give advice and recipes to people with Gluten Free people. Especially people who are newly diagnosed. Kylie is also involved in the Austism Community, having 3 kids of her own on the Autism Spectrum. Page was also used to give support to parents with kids on... the spectrum. Many of the photos were of Autism events etc. She is really upset by this and cannot understand why it has been closed down. If you would not mind going to the top right hand corner of your page and click on the little triangle thingy and when it comes up, down the very bottom it says report a problem.
