15.01.2022 Saying good bye is never easy, although I am extremely grateful for the experience. After 7 years working at Berkeley Creative Artist Studios the space will now... be a church and I have moved to Artist in Residence at Art Arena Gallery & Studios in Wollongong. I am so excited to be in the city again, it's time to reconnect with the community and put more of my art work out there. I have a lot I wish to visually communicate and I know that my works and projects will spreed happiness, introspection for people to enjoy. I have loved sharing the Berkley space with my beautiful friend and wonderful artist Beth Crawford. We shared lots of laughter, danced and sang out loud and created many artworks. A lasting friend ship was created and I am very grateful for the time together. The next chapter of dreaming bigger and being the change has begun. Super excited, super happy, exremely grateful Fprthose who want to join me for a sneak peack at my the series and the studio set up. I will be having an " All Things renewal " 7 years cycle celebration and ceremony date and guest speakers & rituialists to be advised. 04.01.2022 On the easel Titled = Earth life corruption In our back yards. This is a work in progress, this is the underpainting so far to give the general idea. I am inspired by Arthur Boyds thought processes and paintings for this piece. ... Over the past 2 years our family have sadly watched the changing view of our neighbourhood. A once lush old bushland that was a bustling home to many native animals, birds and insect life have completely disappeared. The land is now is a combination of very small blocks of land for new housing development. There must be better ways to build in these very delicate eco environments ? We had displaced homeless water birds hanging around our pool for weeks. My heart broke for these beautiful poweless creatures also the natural tadpoles breeding pond was just bulldozed along with any frogs, reptiles or insect and many other ther beautiful species that no longer live there. Being a witness to this lack of though for nature for progress ....money, has a huge effect on the direction my art work has taken. The ignorance and greed culture of our leaders especially the people we have are elected to run this country for many years now are just raping and theiving for themselves and there mates it seems . I don't see any authentic concern for the people of this country or the environment, even with all the immediate fire devastation consuming the lands or lack of water that is now proven to be partly due to our leaders mismanagement. Or should I say the markets demands. The current leaders could not give a rats about looking after the Australian people our the future of this country . Unfortunately they can't see past the next election and there own fat bank accounts. Such narrow minded thinking needs to be held accountable. The worst part for me about all this is that they are just so blatantly obvious now days that we really don't matter as the Market rules. So they lie do deals behind the doors.to make there bottom line look impressive for the next election. I can't even think of our leaders as Australians their the real Alien invaders raping, killing and pillageing this land we all love. They just haven't learnt.
