25.01.2022 That's a wrap, Friday was my last wedding for the year and it went out with a bang! Wow what an amazing year 2018 was! Thank you to all of the couples and families who invited me into their lives for a day to officiate their Ceremonies. It's been hectic over the past few months and I haven't shared with you some of the beautiful Weddings I've attended.... I'd love to share with you now some photos of Weddings and Ceremonies from throughout the past 12 months. I hope you enjoy these gorgeous photos of the couples, families and their loved ones who celebrated a momentous occasion this year. Recently a young lady, Hayleigh, summed me up with the statement "She loves, Love". Thanks Hayleigh for your kind words, ' I do love Love' that's what makes my job so perfect for me. It is magical witnessing the love and commitment between couples and having the honour to help them create their perfect Wedding Day. Happy New Year to all! Wishing you all a wonderful 2019 filled with love, happiness and many incredible memorable moments.

12.01.2022 I love being a Marriage Celebrant, to me it's the best job in the world. I feel so lucky to be given the opportunity to be a part of couples big day. Behind the scenes of a Ceremony Day for me is a very structured day. Making sure I tick all of my checklists, and checking them twice. My aim for each and every Ceremony is to be as prepared as possible, be ready in body and soul. Ensuring I'm at my best to be there for my couples, their family and friends at the Ceremony. ...Helping to create their Wedding Day just as they imagined it to be. To get me to the Ceremony on time, my wonderful family are always there. Yesterday's ceremony was no different, with my daughter Sharna volunteering to do my hair, she even cooked me the yummiest lunch. Jeff, my husband makes sure my car is packed, the PA is charged, and even checks the batteries in the microphone. They may seem to be little things, but it really helps my day run smoothly. Thank you to all of my family for your ongoing support and encouragement to keep my dream of being the best Marriage Celebrant I can be, alive. Most importantly I'd like to thank all of my fabulous couples past and present for entrusting me to officiate your Ceremony. Thank you.

12.01.2022 Today is a day marked for the history books. Today in Australia, same sex couples can marry one another. To commence the paper work to marry, a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) form is to be signed and witnessed. Your wedding ceremony can be held 1 month from signing. The words that have been amended in the Monitum now read : ... ‘the union of 2 people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life’. The right to marry under Australian law will no longer be determined by sex or gender. If you have any enquiries or would like to arrange a meeting time with me, no obligations to book, please contact me. This is such an exciting time for same sex couples, their families and friends.

04.01.2022 Congratulations and happy first Wedding Anniversary to Sammie and Glenn. This time last year I had the privilege to officiate Sammie and Glenn's seaside wedding. I have known Sammie since she was a primary school girl, as Sammie and my daughter were the best of friends, and still are today. Over the years I have watched Sammie blossom into the beautiful lady she is today. The day Sammie asked me to be her Celebrant for one of the most important days of her life, I was fla...ttered, honoured, and I was so excited that I would be involved in Sammie's big day. The day couldn't have been more perfect for this gorgeous couple. The Ceremony was held in a quiet location on the waters edge of Pallarenda Beach, Townsville. 02.01.2022 Over the past few months Covid-19 has impacted each and every one of our lives in different ways. The pandemic which has stopped the World in it tracks. This journey has been challenging for most, including many of my couples planning for their Wedding Day. Annaliese and John and Phoenix and Cru were determined to not let these current times stop their plans. Instead they went full force ahead embracing these difficult circumstances and incorporating Corona during their Ceremony Service. I was inspired by my couples enthusiasm and went looking for a suitable poem to include in their ceremonies, coming up empty. My imagination went into overdrive and 'Cheers, to us being here!' was created.
02.01.2022 There are dreamers and there are realists in this world. You'd think the dreamers would find the dreamers, and the realists would find the realists, but more often than not, the opposite is true. See, the dreamers need the realists to keep them from soaring too close to the sun. And the realists? Well, without the dreamers, they might not ever get off the ground. Quote from Modern Family. ... Mark and Kirsten, travelled from Cairns to exchange their Wedding Vows last week at Anderson Park, this botanical garden is a sleeping beauty amongst Townsville's natural attractions. Their closest family and friends came from all over Australia to witness and celebrate this momentous occasion. The day would not have been complete without their fur baby Bobbie, being present. 02.01.2022 Naming Ceremonies are a wonderful way to celebrate and introduce the arrival of a new family member. I was so excited and overjoyed when Chloe and Marty asked me to perform a Naming Ceremony for their baby boy Rhett. Rhett was the star of the day at his very own Ceremony, with his Mentors being appointed and having many extra special cuddles from loved ones. Rhett is the baby brother to his big sister Chantilly, and he is the second child to Chloe and Marty.
