17.01.2022 When the task at hand becomes too hard, too draining, too overwhelming,... too unanswerable, too boring, too complicated, too never-ending, too why-the-hell-am-I-doing this. Change your view, if just for a few moments Look up at the sky and notice how it is always changing. Clouds are continually forming, condensing, cumulating, maturing, peaking, sometimes precipitating, decaying, dissipating, disappearing. Notice how the blueness changes too with light and dust and viewpoint. And remember that you, too, are a cloud moving amidst the vastness.
11.01.2022 We are living through a tumultuous time and we need regular breaks from the heaviness and uncertainty. So when you happen upon moments of magic, soak in it. Let it enchant you and weave its medicine through all of your cells and being.... Feel it wrap around you like a cocoon, light you up with wonder and awe as it whispers in your ear this reminder: No matter how hard it gets, magic and miracles still abound even if you can’t see them right now.
08.01.2022 Happy birthday to my book! Birthed into the world 1 year ago today! Thank you to everyone who has read it and supported me. Thank you to those who have written to me to share with me how my book has inspired and helped you. This is why I wrote and shared it. Your emails mean everything to me
08.01.2022 7 years ago today I dance walked my final steps of a 2000+ kilometre journey from Canterbury into Rome on the Via Francigena with my pilgrim buddies Peter & Paulius. I will always celebrate this journey because it was epic and I carry the gifts of it with me forever. If you can walk, walk.... And if you can’t, sit somewhere outdoors and soak in the beauty of this planet. It’s profound and to be treasured, step by step, moment by moment See more
02.01.2022 A TIME FOR REIMAGINING As we come to the end of this year that we thought might only have been possible in a Hollywood movie, I feel the call to reimagine who I am and what I came here to share and the more beautiful world that I want to help create. I use reimagine not in the sense of making it all up, but to use Caroline Myss’s definition of imagination as the ability to ‘image’ that which your physical senses cannot see. ... I feel the call of my Soul to switch off social media, immerse myself in nature and silence, to listen for the voice and images of my soul to guide me into a new beginning. You could call it a pilgrimage into me, one that doesn’t require travel or walking long distances. We will be holidaying from home this Christmas/New Year period. However life finds you in this moment, actively out in the world living it up, restricted in your movements due to COVID, reclusive or contemplative or some other state of being, I send you love and blessings. May your dreams make themselves known to you in clear and inspiring ways. May you renew your vision for the world you want to live in and how you want to participate in its creation. May the new year replenish your energy, your resolve, your hope, your belief and your kindness. May love heal and hold your heart and shine through you. With love and courage Kym xx Photo by ElliottM.
