15.01.2022 We had a lovely birthday meeting on Saturday - our 48th. Starting to think about how we should celebrate our 50th. It was great to see samples from the weaving workshops - advancing twills and network drafting and deflected doubleweave. Some people have already put the name on next years in Sept 2020. Liz Calnan will be the tutor again for echo an iridescent weaving and lace weaving.

05.01.2022 Member Lydia Beshara is going to be involved in the Interwoven event hosted by the La Trobe Art Institute at 121 View St Bendigo. Lydia will be demonstrating sculptural weaving and weaving on a rigid heddle loom on 11th September, 2 October, 9 October, 14 October.

02.01.2022 Finally finished 4 placemats and a table runner which have been on the loom for so long I cant remember. Looking for advice. Do I hem first then wet finish? And should I hand stitch?. Should tabby hems be showing or just main pattern fabric. I have triple stitch zigzagged.
