18.01.2022 Preschool resumes Thursday 28th January. We look forward to seeing our returning children as well as meeting many new little faces!

17.01.2022 A special thank you to Rebecca Tapscott O’Meara and Wayne Walker for our beautiful mural. We have had a family of magpies that have lived at our preschool for many years. We have watched as the young magpies grow up alongside our preschool children (often eating the lunch scraps that have accidentally fallen on the ground). I asked Rebecca if she could come up with a mural that would reflect the connections of our families and the diversity of our children (hence the coloured magpies - cultural and different abilities). I love how these two amazing artists collaborated and created a mural that reflects our values. Love, love, love it!

16.01.2022 Kyogle Preschool will be closed tomorrow, Friday 31 March. Due to further rainfall predictions and minimal staff the committee and I feel this is the safest option for the children. Sorry for any inconvenience! Tracee

15.01.2022 2017 Preschool Photos: Expressions Of Interest Kyogle Preschool Committee are seeking an Expressions of Interest for a Photographer to take our Preschool Photos (class and individual). If you are interested or know someone who is interested, please submit your application and samples of your work with package prices to [email protected]. You will need to be able to work with young children (a current working with children check is preferred) and be flexible with your time as class photos will be taken every day for a whole week with catch-up days if the weather is unkind. We are hoping to take photos in September when the weather is warmer and sickness has subsided. Please note: You will be liasing with parents directly as all correct money is to be paid directly to the photographer. Thank you! Tenders in by 14 August.

12.01.2022 A very big thank you to all our families who came to our Preschool Christmas Concert. We really appreciate your patience and understanding for having to move the concert indoors as we were uncertain as to when that storm was going to hit! The children did a FANTASTIC job and were able to take it all in their stride! We are so proud of them! Congratulations to Susan Jenner who won the raffle, a handmade quilt kindly donated by Christine Graham and a hamper of goodies. Last day of preschool for the children is Wednesday 16th December 2015. Preschool resumes Thursday 28th January 2016. The staff and I would like to wish all our families a happy and safe Christmas! We look forward to next year's adventures. Tracee :)

10.01.2022 GIVE THE FARMERS A HAND CRT KYOGLE SAUSAGE SIZZLE SATURDAY 4th AUGUST 8am-12.30pm... Kyogle Preschoolers are very sad that many animals are hungry on the farms out west and know that many people are sad. We understand if rain doesn’t fall, there is no grass for the cows, sheep and horses to eat. We want to help them by donating all money raised from our annual CRT Sausage Sizzle fundraiser to help ‘Buy a Bale’. We really want to give them a hand, we hope you do too! Please come down Saturday morning to buy a sausage and support our drought affected farmers. Thank you!

03.01.2022 Yesterday, the Premier and the Minister for Early Childhood Education announced funding changes to early childhood education in NSW. He said The Start Strong reforms will significantly increase funding for quality early childhood education to ensure that affordability is not a barrier to participation for families. For Kyogle Preschool to maximise it's funding, each child in the year before school must have the full access of 15 hours per week of preschool. If we do not fulfi...ll this, our funding is significantly reduced. This new announcement has disrupted our usual enrolment process time frame however forms will be posted out in early October after important decisions are made and finalised. Thank you to those families who are waiting patiently!
