20.01.2022 Reminder of what is on around Kyogle this weekend. **Kyogle monthly Bazaar, Amphitheatre park behind Info Centre, Sat 9am-2pm. **Woodebong Seasonal market Sat 9...am-3pm in the grounds around the Woodenbong Public Hall. **Golf on sundays for a Summer Golf Special Price of $10 per head, ( but might be a bit hot this weekend). **The kids from DIRT (Drama in Rural Towns), perform a re written version of Alice In Wonderland by local Don Sams. Performances will be held at the KMI sat 2pm or at the Casino RSM sun 2pm. Tickets available at the door, (doors open 1pm) but be early as seating is limited. $10 Adults and children under 12 free. **Kyogle Farmers Market, Stratheden St 8am-12noon. Variety of stalls including local produce, Fresh Fish from Iluka, crafts etc. And if you want to keep cool perhaps you could have a game of Ten Pins Bowls at the Commercial Hotel; attend Kyogle Cinemas, Kyogle Museum (sat 9am-1pm), Library (sat 9am-12noon), Roxy Gallery, or even take a dip at the pool and check out the new Water park play area for kids. Just remember to Slip, slop and slap and keep hydrated with plenty of fluids, both for yourself and your pets ( and don 't forget the local wildlife-leave some bowls of water around your yards) and enjoy your weekend. 17.01.2022 Today was the Summerland Pumpkin Festival in Kyogle. Check out this whopper , grown by Dale Oliver who held the previous record at 743kgs. Congratulations to S...teve Leadbetter who has been driving the pumpkin festival for years now. He sources the seeds for people to grow these specific type of pumpkins, provides advice on how to grow them and has promoted the festival. Steve is the man behind the scenes and deserves the accolades for coordinating a festival that has become a signature event for Kyogle. See more
