19.01.2022 Swimming Lessons are back in Term 4. General COVID-safe principles will apply; * Maintain 1.5m social distancing at all times... * Get in, train and get out * Practice good hand hygiene before and after training * Come ready to swim * Stay home if you, or a family member, are unwell * Don’t share food, drinks, equipment or towels * Follow the one person per 4 square metres rule to ensure sufficient physical distancing between participants See more

19.01.2022 Unfortunately no more swimming lessons. After recommendation I feel swimming lessons shouldn’t continue as distancing from others will help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus. All sports and training have been suspended throughout Australia. I’m a little sad to finish the season early but everyone’s health is more important. I’ll be in touch with everyone.... Stay safe and help others in need at this time. See more

09.01.2022 Parents and carers are reminded that all children 10 years of age and under must be supervised by a parent or a guardian when they are at any of Council’s three... public swimming pools. The reminder comes as an increasing number of parents/carers have been seen dropping their young children at the pool by themselves before the start of a class or activity. It is Council policy that children aged 10 years and under at a Council pool must be supervised by an adult at all times. Council does not operate a child care centre from its swimming pools. Council staff have the right to refuse entry to the pool to any unaccompanied child thought to be under 10 years of age, and Council may be required to report incidents involving an unaccompanied child to welfare agencies and/or Police for their follow up and action. This is a child safety issue and Council does not wish to see any harm come to a youngster while at the pool, so please ensure your child is supervised at all times.
