25.01.2022 A reminder that bookings are essential for classes. Please don't assume I would keep a spot for you or your child. Due to the restricted number of 20, it is a first in. Spots are filling fast.

23.01.2022 The mats never lie in our style you bow on before you step on the mat, you bow off when step of the mat ... You respect and acknowledge you are here to focus a...nd train...You clock on, in a way, you clock off... Everytime you put the Gi ( uniform) on, remember all those who wore it before you, the honour to wear it, the history, the credibility of what it stands for....the purity of everyone wearing the same uniform, race, religion, etc, we are all one. Everytime you put on the obi (belt), I think of what @judd_reid said, when you put it on, it's your moment to appreciate learning. While you are putting it on, you think how you're going to improve, get better and you start getting in the zone... All this and we haven't even started the class! See you soon mats, I'm waiting patiently.. Osu #martialarts #karate #kyokushin #dojo #waiting

22.01.2022 Tonight we said good bye to Senpai Aimee as she moves on to her next chapter. She will be very missed as she has been a great asset for our dojo. We look forward to seeing her at tournaments and whenever she comes to visit.

21.01.2022 Today marks the 26th anniversary of the passing of Sosai Mas Oyama. Unfortunately I never had the honor of meeting this incredible man in person but feel such a strong connection through the many years of training Kyokushin. This man has changed the lives of so many people throughout the world and has connected so many in friendship. I hope we are doing him proud in our efforts to continue his legacy. I ask all students of Kyokushin past and present to take a moment today to reflect on your journey so far and how this man has influenced your life. Gone but never forgotten. OSU!

21.01.2022 We are nearly there. We will be reopening from the 13th. Restrictions are still in place and this will mean a slight restructure of classes and times (still need to sort the logistics of all this). Due to the small number allowed (10), zoom classes will continue. 1 small positive step towards us all being able to train together again.

20.01.2022 All clean and ready. Very excited to be back together.

20.01.2022 After a 7 and a half hour grading. These 2 smashed it out. Well done fellas, we're all very proud.

20.01.2022 This has got to be some of the best news I have received in a long time. Keep an eye out this week as we make a return to class times as normal. Let's all work together through this craziness and focus on something productive. I hope to see you all tomorrow.

05.01.2022 TRAINING UPDATE!!! First of all I hope everyone is healthy and well. I will hold 1 combined class on Tuesday and Thursday nights starting at 5.30pm running for an hour or so. Monday classes are now postponed until further notice. As martial artists we learn to be resilient and that's what we must be in times like these. I... want to make this a positive experience where we can still enjoy what we love and get some fresh air while doing so. I suggest bringing a hat, sun screen and drink bottle. Shoes are optional for training. If there are any concerns, please feel free to contact me. Please spread the word. I thankyou all for your support and understanding and look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday. Osu! Senpai Dan. See more

03.01.2022 The gyms and martial arts schools that you attend or take your kids to desperately need your help! In my block alone we have my Martial Arts school, two dance s...chools and one Crossfit gym. These are all run by families! They aren't big business or corporations, they are REAL PEOPLE with kids to feed, bills to pay and EVERYTHING on the line. We need you to keep supporting us and all other small business. While the big boys can threaten you with action, we can only plead with you for support. If you are genuinely concerned for your safety or your kids wellbeing (You are certainly entitled to be) talk to your gym owner. Do a deal! Work something out that keeps your bottom line good but ensures that your gym will still be there when this is all over. We are all going to take a hit and I guarantee you it won't be from illness. This virus is just as contagious as any cold and as harmful as any flu. Listen to solid advise from credible sources and and say NO to the hysterical media that has created a literal feeding frenzy. #mediaquarantine
