25.01.2022 OSU and HELLO to all, a quick email to congratulate and thank EVERYONE who was involved in the 2018 MUSASHI CUP yesterday, the reaction and feedback has been overwhelming and certainly encouraging to push forward to prepare for 2019. Clearly, this is seen by many to be a prestigious event. Kyokushin, Shinkyokushin, Ashihara, Zenshin, Freestyle entrants, families, competitors, helpers, all Officials, before during and after the event.was inspiring and we thank you all... SO much !!! A very special thank you to someone who’s presence somewhat goes un-noticed yet ensures according to the rules that the event can take place is Leisurelink student and Paramedic Jack Langedyk. OSU &THANK YOU SO MUCH Jack, it is always fantastic to have a medical officer who understands tournament activities themselves !!! So, again thank you and congratulations to all we trust that everyone travelled home safely and we most certainly look forward to sharing quality time with each and every one again at the next available opportunity. 25.01.2022 Osu all, just a quick reminder that Advanced and Development Class (Yellow, Green, Brown and Black Belts) will be held this coming Sunday, 29th of July commencing at 10.00am. Katsumata Dojo (Kardinia International College GYM). As normal I would like to mention that for those eligible these classes are presented for YOUR benefit, the last attendance was fairly good and will need to be again for these opportunities to continue. 21.01.2022 Osu all, as the proceedings will begin for the last days among us for the 4 suddenly and tragically taken this is my personal home shrine in honour which will remain in place until the very last is laid to rest and then another week until any sort of feeling may become that they are resting peacefully. A candle for each will be lit at 5pm each evening as I raise a glass in honour and sadness. My best regards to family, colleagues and friends. Very sadly I say RIP Team !!

04.01.2022 OSU and congratulations to all today who participated in our senior grading (Green belts and above) fantastic effort, 5 hours of a true test. A special congratulations to now Sempai Mark Sanna who completed his Shodan (Black Belt) test also finishing by completing 40 X 1.5 minute rounds of full contact fighting. Long term dedicated hard training brings results, well done mate !!! The photo is Mark having to take part of the grading himself as a requirement demonstrating and explaining technique.

02.01.2022 Osu, in recent months I spoke and posted about the challenges of training by ourselves so at the start to set an example I set my own goal to train for 100 days in a row. Today was day 100, goal achieved. I will post some statistics of that training at a later time. I hope all are well and we meet again soon!! Osu

01.01.2022 Osu Everyone, just for information our website www.kyokushinkarategeelong.com has now been adjusted to facilitate that from this point in time to A/ To prevent confusion and B/ Absolutely clarify our identity as of today there will basically be no reference to AKKG (Australia Kyokushin Karate Geelong). As previously mentioned this is to allow the prospects of our group to operate outside of Geelong / Victoria areas and if necessary beyond. All we need to remember now is AJKU... (Australia Japan Kyokushin Union technically) AND/ OR simply the tag name MUSASHI DOJOS. Interesting that GOOGLE has already recognised even the basic search of Musashi Dojos Geelong and bounces the link across to our website. We officially welcome you to feel free to promote yourselves as being devoted members of AJKU and/ or MUSASHI DOJOS. 01.01.2022 OSU - AJKU students Alex Sun and Pip Evans represented us at CHIKARA FULL CONTACT TOURNAMENT in Melb today and we walk away extremely proud as both of them should. Pip had a win and Alex had a learning experience. Photos will follow after this one of our Sensei Rocky aso representing AJKU Refereeing full contact division. Then a happy proud Pip, Alex in comp with an old time friend from Mt Gambier and 3 concentrating experienced Kyokushin older faces.......... INTENT ON MAKING SURE EVERYTHING IS RIGHT !!!
