20.01.2022 Last night we held our annual karate display and Christmas Party. Thank you to all the students who attended and put in their best effort for the display, and to the parents and friends who came along. A huge thank you also to our special guests Mayor Carmelo Pesce, Councillor John Riad, Shihan Nik and Shihan Joy Cujic and Father Daniele Russo for joining us.... Thank you to Santa (who arrived in style in an RFS vehicle!) for bringing gifts for all of our students. And last but not least, to all who helped us make this event possible including our students, parents and family - a BIG thank you! Your effort was greatly appreciated. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and looking forward to an even bigger and better 2020!!

16.01.2022 "" I DONT PAY FOR KARATE "" From a parent..... One of my friends asked me Why do you pay so much money and spend so much time running around like your son to do karate?" Well I have a confession to make: I don't pay for Karate! I don't pay for my son karate lessons. I don't pay for his gloves..... or suits or his competitions.... So if I don't pay karate what do I pay for? - I pay for those moments when my boy gets so tired he feels like giving up but he doesn't. - Paying for the opportunity my boy can make his friends throughout his life. - Paying the chance for him to have amazing instructors to teach him that karate is not just about movement but about life. - Paying for my child to learn to be disciplined. - Paying for my child to learn to take care of him. - I pay for my child to learn to work with others, to be kind and respectful. - Paying for my child to learn to deal with disappointment when he doesn't get that score he was hoping for or fell during a move he practiced a thousand times but still gets up and is determined to do it BETTER next time. - Paying for my boy to learn to accomplish his goals. - Paying for my boy to learn it takes hours and hours of hard work and practice to create a champion and success doesn't happen overnight. - Paying so my boy can be in the dojo and not in front of a screen I could go on and on but to be short I don't pay karate; I pay for the opportunities karate gives my child to develop attributes that will serve him throughout his life and give him the opportunity to bless life to others. From what I've seen for many, many years, I think it's a great investment!

Open to all children and no karate experience is necessary!
