Head over to the Kyona Alpaca Shop page for other lovely items for sale. Hi, My name is Fiona and with my Sister in law Kylie, we run an alpaca stud at Forest Reefs near Millthorpe. NSW. Named Kyona Alpacas. We have a herd of 70 alpacas. To keep our ...herd we have our alpaca fleeces processed into top and 4ply & 8ply yarn, which we hand dye and sell. We also felt with our alpaca fibre and make hand made items to sell. The hand made products we sell assist us in the hard times, like now it times of drought. Today if have posted a few pictures of our needle felted teddy bears with more products to be added during the next week. (After Shearing). The bears are needle felted and then wet felted with combinations of alpaca, silk and wool. They are in wonderful colours to be enjoyed. 08.01.2022 Fiona did a fantastic job today in her interview with Prime News talking about the Alpacas and the products that we have been making from our own Alpaca fleece. We are amazed at the support we have been given through our recent post on One Day Closer to rain craft page. Thanks to those who have supported us, liked our page and placed orders, as well as Prime News for highlighting our Alpacas and craft.

07.01.2022 One of our favourite times of the year is shearing where we get to see the efforts of our breeding program. Thanks to Chris and Craig for shearing and handling the Alpacas, as well to our fabulous roustabouts Erin, Neil, Annalisa and visitor Leona! We couldn't have done it without you guys. Got to love the consistency of our fleeces!
