25.01.2022 Its OFFICIAL....! I will not be a people pleaser anymore! This also means, I he come to the conclusion I dont have to be happy or nice anymore! Now this doesnt make me a bad person.... this makes me human! Sometimes in life you need to have the tough conversations with people around you. And honest action needs to be taken! What does this mean.... for me it means no longer pursuing friendships that I get no benefit from. You know the ones.... the one sided friendships w...here you make all the effort, and push and push and push for this thing to be kept together... and by the end of it, your tired , exhausted and just feel like youre failing! Now, do you ever feel like an imposter? Like youre the fox amount sheep ? I believe this is becoming more of an issue for people these days as we compare ourself to the unrealistic social media image of what it is to be successful, nice, happy and fulfilled! But really we are pretending, lying to our true self! Instead the whole time, all we really want to do is be true and honest to ourselves but are scared what anyone or everyone will think of us! Now, by being truely honest with yourself, you will attract your true tribe. The people who are right for you! Who will love you for who you truely are, and help you grow to be the best version of you! Think of all the wasted energy you would get back! Dont hold yourself prisoner by trying to be something for everyone, by trying to please everyone! Be yourself, and trust where this will lead you.... You are destined for greatness... You start to grow, and become a better version of you! With more experiences, more knowledge and hopefully staying true to you. Now you have started to change, level up, and become the best version of you.... Isnt it strange when this happens inside of you, how quickly things around you change? You start to att...ract your tribe. People who vibe with you. People who just understand you better. Similar interests, belief systems and just seem to have a better connection! 21.01.2022 Are you a planner? Do you sit down at the start of the year and do a vision board? Set your goals for the year? Start to manifest what life has in stall for you, and where you want to be? I have said so many times I will do this.... still with the cork board sitting in the corner empty.... I have always found that having a plan written down and in my face everyday, I am more focused on it. Everything I do, is making moves to make that plan work!... But how easily we forgot what we have achieved! How far we have come! And even to celebrate our little wins each and everyday! So where am I going with this.... well what about an achievement board... One where you have photos, tickets stubs , receipts , anything that reminds you of that win! What would be on mine... A trip to NZ for my 30, a logo of my business, too many tickets to name, pictures of my partner and my dogs, my first receipt from my first customer, a photo of my first pub license. But it doesnt matter! Your wins are your own! And remember to celebrate them all, no matter how big or small! I would love to see any vision boards, or achievement boards you may have? 20.01.2022 I have moments when i look back and see how far Ive come in amazement. To see my own personal and professional growth, and think how different I was, even only 6 months ago. BUT... I also have those moments looking back, and thinking how little Ive achieved and comparing myself to others, or the "standard."... I hate to say it, but in todays society, things have really changed. People are having amazing careers, before deciding to have children. People are buying investment properties before their own home. People are travelling the world working from a computer! And in these moments of ripping myself apart, and letting the despair set in.... I stop... Success, should not be measured against anyone else, and where they are in life! Success is what you want out of life, and what you have achieved! Not because Im strict with what I expect my team to achieve... not because I hold them accountable... not because I hold them to the same standard I hold myself...... But because Im a female! You may think Im exaggerating! And Im happy for everyone to have their own opinions. But how do I know?!? Because I have colleagues in the same industry, who act the same, say the same, do the same (I had to learn from somewhere) and are seen as great leaders! How did this come about? (Sorry I dont have the answer for this!) How can we change it? Hold girls and boys to the same standards! Whats between your legs, should not have any influence how people see you! Teach girls to stand up and be heard, to be great leaders and to follow their passion. Lets not teach them how to tear each other down, and how one girl succeeding means she is a bitch, or worse.... sleeping her way to the top! Thats our comfort zone, a behavioural space that we tend to spend most of our time in. Some of us more than others. It is a space where our behaviours and activities fit a routine and pattern that minimises our stress and perception of risk. How easy is it in this zone? But doesnt it get boring? How are we meant to grow, when there i...s nothing forcing us to level up? Helping us learn, and move, and most importantly grow! 07.01.2022 Ill start my new diet Monday. I cant start until the start of next month. Ill wait until the new year.... We have all heard these excuses before.... And most of us have used one, or more, of them ourselves.... Im guilty of it! But what does that mean? It means youre robbing yourself of what you could truly become. Or is it just because you dont want it bad enough!... I know i have done this myself numerous times. Ive had to really think about WHY! Why am I not interested in getting up and doing.... X? I found that these are things I really didnt want to do. So what does this mean, we never do what we dont want to? I WISH!... But unfortunately in life, we have to do things we dont want to. So what are you getting at? For your passion, find something that gets you up out of your seat, and sets your soul on fire. Where you want to do the hard work, and achieve your dreams! For the jobs you have to do, this can be tough. What have I found to help? Count 1,2,3 then just get up and do it! 07.01.2022 "KNOW YOUR WHY".... I know thought my time, and Im sure throughout your time, you have heard the saying "Know your why?" BUT WHY... ... What does this have to do with our everyday life? Does it really impact me, my job, my career, my life? Does it really matter...? What would you say if I said.... YES! When you know your why, you tend to live a more meaningful existence than those who dont. You tend to live each day to the fullest, because you know who you are, where youre coming from, and where youre going. A sense of purpose can give you clarity around everyday life, and help you live with integrity knowing youre working towards your passion. I have been luckily enough over the last few years, of growing and becoming more comfortable with my skin, really started to get clarity around my WHY. And this has helped me to really start to focus my energy and decisions around what will keep me in a direction that helps me align everyday with my why. I have a long way to go, until I am waking up everyday, and really following it, hook line and sinker, but life is a journey and a few discoveries along the way can make for a fun adventure. Doesnt seem like your kind of thing, or just stuck on where to go next. Or just have no idea what your why is? Ask yourself 1. What makes you come alive? 2. What are your innate strengths? 3. Consistency!!! We need to be consistently turning up, training, be present for friends and family. With this consistency comes knowledge and repetition. 06.01.2022 Are you a gonna? or a doer? Dont get me wrong, we all have dreams of achieving GREAT things! Even if greatness means different things to each of us.... But Im sure we all know a "Im gonna" person. Im gonna start a business, Im gonna do that course, Im gonna.... Yet, they never seem to move from where they are today.... I myself and a serial doer to keep busy. At times I lack focus on my vision and my end goal. And in doing so, put a lot of effort into the wrong exercise, that could help me, but doesnt help me achieve my dream. At times this could be as devastating to that dream as not doing anything at all. How do I go about trying to avoid this. I now have my dream written down, and the plan of how to get there written down. As no real dream happens without a plan, and the easiest way to plan is to write it down. Now every big decision, I go back to the plan and see how this will fit in, and how it will help me achieve. Dont get me wrong, Im sure I will still make the wrong decision at times, or choose the harder path. But this will help me to continue to gain clarity around my vision and dream, and help me to continue to have it in the forefront of my thoughts as I continue to work towards it.... helping me transition from being only a dreamer, to becoming a doer! #kyrajayde #buildingmyempire #bossbabe #backabitch How do you keep yourself on track to your dream?

01.01.2022 Ever been through a rough patch? A time that you didnt think you would survive? When you just wanted to give up?.... Yea sounds like it was hard! Well, guess what? Everyone has these trials. Everyone goes through rough patches. Times they believe will break them... BUT... Guess what! They came out the other side, maybe a little battered and bruised... BUT they survived. They learnt. And they are stronger than ever!... Not everything in life is easy, if it was, would you really have learnt that lesson? Like not to touch the heater in the lounge room thats on and roaring? Really, how many times had your mum had to tell you, until your reached out your finger, as the unknown was killing you.... and... and... and... We all know what happens next! (OK, maybe an over simplified situation, but you get what I mean!) Life has to throw you curve balls, to teach you, to mould you, to get you to the person you need to be to level up! You need that resilience, the strength and the knowledge you have learnt from these lesson, to be the person you need to be, to get to where you have always dreamed.
