22.01.2022 our wonderful club members are kept updated when we will return to training - at this time, we believe we have a duty of care for all members , and will be abiding by advice and protocols supplied by Qld Government, when we return. To make this more possible, we have arranged to start club again at a bigger dojo, and look forward to setting up and starting there, as soon as possible. Whilst there is ''allowed a return to indoor contact sport'' , players must socially isolate immediately they come off the mat. We have some reservations with the very close contact of our sport, and then distance off the mat !! - doesn't quite balance safety for everyone , so we'll stay on hold, for hopefully just a short time longer -

20.01.2022 Kyushin Judo Club members - ***please note*** .....working on the assumption that all will continue safely with this Covid 19 Virus, we will be starting club again on Wednesday /Saturday ....5th and 8th August. - there are restrictions and regulations which we must comply with , and an email is about to be sent to all members about this. Because of this current virus situation, WE HAVE CHANGED VENUE - as our ability to abide by distancing etc would not have been able to be done at Geebung (and we are very grateful for the times we had at Fight Cross ) but we'll now be based in the Seikukan Karate Building, 56-62 Cressey St, Wavell Heights - same times and days - members please check your emails for a message re restriction regulations.

05.01.2022 end of a different year !!.....a fun teams competition and breakup party for the wonderful members of Kyushin Judo Club......so many thanks to the loyal and supportive parents, coaches , and best group of kids ever !!. It's been a difficult and different year, and EVERY single one has shown the true spirit of judo. With limited gradings and no competitions this year, a few of our annual perpetual trophies were presented to parents who have kept the wheels turning all year, wi...th the Judoka of the Year then going to Amelia Moates, who rarely misses a club training, and is always cheerful and willing to help, especially with new or younger members......a special thanks to Flour& Chocolate at Northgate for providing lots of extra treats for our break-up party - (anyone who ever craves something tasty and special needs to visit this amazing place ) .......the day was not complete without mentioning the ''Brad's push-up challenge'' - pushups till you can push no more......proving that girls rule the world, and the smaller they are, the tougher they are .......until their legs were shaking and tiny wrists were done , little Gracie and bubble Ada would not give up, and both received a well earned gold medal - all fun and fitness of course !! ........thanks to everyone who've managed this weird year- here's to a great 2021 after a well deserved break over school holidays See more
