20.01.2022 Winter Fun Albany Day 5 Thank you Albany for such an awesome week. We are confident to say that awesome gains were made by every child who attended our Fun. ... Day 5s theme was Knitting and Scarves. We did had back up plans for the shared making station as it was difficult to gauge the interest of the Fun members for knitting. We should have known better, every single child adored the task of helping to knit a scarf and three of them elected to do more in the free time after social group and are now avid knitters. We had lots of fun with this theme including finger knitting, crocheting, French knitting (cup knitting), painting, making a threaded scarf and a crazy obstacle course full of sharks, crocodiles and hot lava. Thanks so much to our Albany Crew, Jane McCallum (Speech Pathologist) and Bonnie Leonhardt (Occupational Therapist) for the awesome help and experience you bring to the job. For the rest of the Travellers (Amy, Chris, Ellen, Lauren, Kathy, Maggie) we are off for a quick bit of tourism and then back to Perth for Mondays start of Winter Fun. Of course these programs would not be achievable without the fantastic support of Mount Lockyer Primary School who have allowed KZ Speech use of the school.

19.01.2022 KZ Speech and COVID-19 Update Dear Clients Over the past 4 to 5 years KZ Speech staff have run tele-sessions with various clients from regional to remote Western Australia, the Northern Territory and overseas. ... Due to current health concerns in Western Australia, KZ Speech are now offering this service to all clients (where applicable and possible). As such, please do discuss this option with your therapist should you be considering temporarily ceasing services or wanting to change how services are delivered. Your Therapist will be able to advise if they believe that tele-services will work for you or your child. We will then be able to show you how this will work in preparation for this type of service delivery. If everything works as we believe it will, your session times at KZ Speech will remain the same.
