23.01.2022 Wow, did you know that in Finland speeding ticket amounts are partially based on the driver's income so the wealthier you are the more you pay? The most expensive speeding ticket ever issued may have been given to Jussi Salonoja in Finland in 2003. Salonoja was heir to a successful meat company, and was cited for driving 80 km/h in a 40 km/h zone, and was subsequently fined a whopping 170,000 euros. Safety first.

12.01.2022 With the weather starting to really cool, and the drizzle picking up, Black Ice will soon start wreaking havoc again. Unfortunately, a lot of people are never taught what to do if you hit Black Ice. Here are a few safety tips: - Stay calm... - Do as little as possible and allow the car to pass over the ice - Don’t brake - Try and keep the steering wheel straight - If your back wheels start to slide left or right very slightly turn the wheel the same way (if you turn in the opposite directing you risk skidding and spinning off the road) - Slow down by taking your foot off the accelerator And of course, in bad weather, always take it slow. Better late and safe.
