25.01.2022 I have been very busy in the last few weeks creating new polymer pieces. 4 cruise ships to Airlie Beach in March and 7 in April will leave me with zero spare time. With Valentine's Day closing in, I have done new Heart and Soul pendants. I was asked to do smaller Retro gardens pendants, so decided square was the way to go. These are the latest! Oval retro gardens pendants nearly finished.

25.01.2022 The red/orange necklace sold last week but the lady wanted BIG matching earrings. Lucky I had a few beads left.

23.01.2022 I made some decisions. Bracelet and earrings.

22.01.2022 I wanted to make some swirl lentil beads, so I took some progressive shots. The first in pink/ white/orange and lime colours. The last shot shows one of the balls being rotated under a CD cover to form a bi-cone shape which is gradually flattened to a lentil.

21.01.2022 I have always admired the beautiful canes of Sarah Shriver. So I did something about it last week. I found a tutorial by Sarah on Craftartedu.com and made 2 canes on the weekend. Such lovely colour combinations that they cried out to be made up. Just finished tonight.

20.01.2022 And 2 bracelets

19.01.2022 I really liked those ocean wave beads, and made them into 2 necklaces. I took them to the boutique and they both sold the next day. Other people liked them too!

18.01.2022 Love The Whimsical Bead website. Love Dani Rappinett. Her "Rainbow Bubbles" tutorial inspired my ocean bubbles pendants. Whenever I look out my window at the beautiful Whitsundays/Coral Sea ocean, I see these remarkable colours.

13.01.2022 After a long absence from this page, I got my act together again. I purchased a tutorial from Anat Azulay some time ago and left it to simmer mentally for a while. My aim was to do an underwater seascape using chalks and embossing powders (unknown territory for me). The first photo is the pendant coloured with chalks and cured. The second is the finished item with embellishments of embossing powders, Inca gold paint and Gilder's paste. I have learnt some lessons from this attempt!

13.01.2022 I was surprised by the versatility of the little beach rock/sand necklaces. I imagined them as young people's necklaces but they look good on quite sophisticated clothing and are selling to a range of people.

12.01.2022 So what next? "Ancient treasures". Polymer clay textured with ammonite ridges or shells. Painted with acrylics to antique in the ridges, then alcohol inks and finally Gilder's paste for that lovely metallic blush. What a lot of work but isn't that what treasures are about?

12.01.2022 I ordered Solitaire kaftans back in March for delivery in August/September. It is hard to remember my orders so it always comes as a pleasant surprise when they arrive and are opened. I had the day off on Friday, so was surprised on Saturday and admired my choices. Sold 2 on Sunday! They are very beautiful! The photos do not do them justice!

11.01.2022 Well, they turned out OK, now for some "ocean wave" swirl beads.

07.01.2022 Some necklaces made from those lustrous beads!

06.01.2022 I am always into pattern and colour, so decided to branch out. These are my "beach rocks". Polymer clay impressed with shell textures then painted with alcohol inks and finally antiqued with copper acrylic paint, thanks to my late mother's stash of ancient goodies!

01.01.2022 I think I will go back to my pattern and colour preferences! So what to do with this lot?
