23.01.2022 I want to apologise for my video rant yesterday about the theft of the pot and plant ... I hope I didn't offend anyone with my angry reaction to the theft. I have to say, retail is a tough game ... here's some interesting stats to prove this: 80 percent of businesses that open in Aust will fail in their first year, and of the 20% that make the twelve month mark, 70% of those businesses will close in the next five years ... as you can see it's a tough gig being in business. During this unprecedented COVID era, where retail is doing it very tough, I am disappointed that people would steal from any retail outlet, including a small business like mine. NOW I want to thank all the people who sent me messages of love yesterday ... your messages, and a few bourbons last night, cheered me up enormously .

01.01.2022 OH MY GOODNESS I dropped a coin this morning and it rolled under the counter so I got on my hands and knees to retrieve it when I noticed the missing phone! Seems the phone fell between the wall and the cash register counter, a space of only an inch. The mystery here is ... when Kerrie, Violet and I called it one thousand times (that may be a slight exaggeration ) why didn't it ring! And why didn't I find t when I used the 'FIND MY PHONE' app!!! It still had 39% battery life... this morning and it wasn't on silent. Because theft is part of retail life sadly I thought the worst. Anyway because it was late night shopping at the Belconnen Mall last night I rushed over and I purchased, on a plan, a Samsung 20 ... life without a phone is too strange! So now I have an expensive phone I don't need but one I've fallen in love with. Never a dull minute in my life eh!!! P.S. the old phone is in the dog house until I figure out what to do with it!!! P.S.S. thank you to everyone who showed concern for the missing phone ... your support certainly helped me emotionally! See more
