15.01.2022 Last weekend saw my beautiful grandchildren and Miss Gwens Great Grandchildren competed at Townsville Highland Championship. Clara did exceptionally well winning 4 firsts , one second and one fourth and took out the 10yrs and under aggregate. Aubrey danced great and won 1 first and one fourth. Jarvis although not gaining a place danced really well - we are really proud of them all

09.01.2022 Some wonderful news for one of our past students. Ainsley was taught by Miss Gwen from the age of three till he finished High School and he went to WAPA to finish his Theatrical training. Ainsley played Aladdin when it first opened in Sydney for a few years then went to Broadway to be Aladdin there and was tagged as the best Aladdin ever, he then has had a rest acting in some stage plays back home in Australia and now he is back in Broadway. There is no limit to his talent, congratulations Ainsley all at La Belle are very proud of you

07.01.2022 In he last few days one of our Senior Dancers Miss Teoni has been performing in the Orange Eisteddfod. Teoni has come away with some fantastic results. Teoni was awarded the Most Promising Open Tap Dancer at the Esiteddfod, Finalist in Tap Scholarship, Very Highly Commended in Open Tap Champrionship & Seniot Tap sections, Highly Commended in the Senior Fast Tap, Waltz Tap, National Character & Open National Charachter Championship. Teoni also gained a 2nd placing in the Senior Tap Ensemble. Overall Teoni was placed in all her sections against very hard competition. Congratulations Teoni we are SO Very Proud of you :)
06.01.2022 Sunday saw Clara and Aubrey perform at the Mackay Autumn Competition. Both performed beautifully. Aubrey came away with two 3rds and Clara with one 3rd and a signature. Clara found the competition very strong as she was dancing against 15 year olds and even though not placing in every event the experience was a great learning curve. Congratulations Clara and Aubrey we are very proud of you
04.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone, with the new measures now in place to help beat the Covid-19 there will be NO dancing for the rest of this term. We will review the situation at the end of the school holidays and will inform everyone of what is happening then. Those that have Easter Raffle tickets once sold could you please drop them of to my place before the 9th April as we will still be drawing the raffle for Easter (there are 8 prizes).
