25.01.2022 Just another reminder to pick up childrens’ bikes tomorrow Tuesday at pick up.

23.01.2022 Hello to the Labertouche Primary School Community! My name is Christie Bransgrove and I thought it timely I introduced myself to you all. I am thrilled to be your new Principal for 2021 and beyond. I have been teaching for almost 20 years in both Secondary and Primary Schools. I am passionate about building community, and creating opportunities for children to learn, become the best versions of themselves, and find the place where they belong. I have 3 daughters, and live in ...Neerim South with my husband Clint, our girls, and our dog Lily. The thing I am looking forward to the most is getting to know the students and families at Labertouche. I am sure together we can ensure that Labertouche Primary goes from strength to strength! Enjoy the rest of your school holidays, and I will look forward to welcoming you all back to school on the 28 January. Best wishes, Christie Bransgrove See more

23.01.2022 The students will have an amazing aroma coming from their kitchens next week. Pity I can’t call in for a sample.

18.01.2022 The junior grade has been very creative making their spelling words at home during remote learning. We have examples of marbles, petals, matchbox cars, sticks, pasta and many more. I don’t think you are supposed to eat the dry pasta though.

16.01.2022 The staff at Labertouche Primary have been very busy getting work packs organised each week for their students. These are then delivered to each families mailboxes on a Monday morning. The students are excited to get the new work and feed back from their teachers. The students are doing a combination of paper work and online learning as well as art and cooking. Next weeks cooking activity is Anzac biscuits.

10.01.2022 Labertouche Primary was very lucky to have Susan McLean come and have a talk to our senior grade today, about online internet platform safety. She was very interesting and I think we all learnt something.

09.01.2022 Getting into the Festive spirit. Our natural Christmas tree this year, as an advent calendar. A very busy couple of weeks ahead. Please take time to smell the roses as the saying goes, and enjoy the rest of term 4.

08.01.2022 I wonder how many students got to make the Anzac biscuits in last weeks work packs!! Here are mine and they were yummy. New packs arrive to your letter boxes in the morning (Monday). I’ll see how many waves I get and let you know next week.

07.01.2022 Well now with remote learning, I’ll be back on the road tomorrow for the pick up and delivery of your children’s work for the week. Please send back one of their empty reader pouches please ready for the swap over next week.

04.01.2022 Today our junior class planted snow peas! We are monitoring the growth of our snow peas as part of the Science program we are piloting with STEM Zone. This program gives all the students at Labertouche Primary the opportunity to participate in hands on Science lessons and is creating authentic, and very joyful, learning. The best bit? When we finish our Science observations, we’ll plant the peas in our veggie garden and use the produce in our fortnightly cooking sessions!

02.01.2022 Labertouche Primary would like to welcome all prospective families for 2022 and beyond to our Teddy Bear’s Picnic and Open Day on Friday 26th February at 9:15am.
