25.01.2022 GOING LIGHTER FOR SUMMER... important info guys. Please see below the journey our senior colourist Jeanette has taken her client on to achieve these amazing results. Jeanette words. My long time client Natasha wanted to lighten her hair after years of being very dark. The two things we didn’t want were: damaged hair resulting in having to cut it short and red/copper tones. So with a lot of time, patience and Goldwell bond pro we now have this soft root melt with honey tones. Patience is everything to maintain the credibility and condition of your hair. @ La Bimbi Salons

17.01.2022 I would like to personally assure all our guests our salon is adhering with all the sanitation/ distancing rules and are a delighted the 30 min rule has been lifted. The staff at La Bimbi love our profession, are safe, professional and very happy to continue to service all our guests. We are trading as normal and taking the advice of the Australian Government regarding your health and safety and of our staff, this is our priority.... Salon operating times during COVID-19 may change from regular hours. We understand your concerns around being in our salon and public places. We want to assure you that we are putting in place all measures to keep you and your family safe at our salon. We have always maintained high levels of hygiene and cleaning practices in our salon and we have increased our cleaning practices and hygiene as follows: Towels and capes will continue to be washed after every client - All work stations and chairs are sanitised after every client - Hand sanitiser is available at front desk - You will be seated at a safe distance from each other that meets the suggested social distance requirements - Increasing the frequency of salon cleaning, including scissors and other tools - We recommend use tap and pay, the Eftpos machine is sanitised after every use - We have removed all magazines from the salon, but we do have free wi-fi so you can still catch up on the gossip and stay in touch with the latest news - Coffee/tea is still served in biodegradable disposable paper cups. Our salon staff have completed and passed the Infection Control Training - COVID-19 as issued from the Australian Government Department of Health. 08.01.2022 Please note, we have a cancellation policy in place for December. With only 8 sleeps until Christmas the salon has been extra busy! Our team are working overtime to ensure everyone has a gorgeous new do (or a freshen up) before the holidays. Unfortunately, we've had to turn a few clients away as our booking sheet is very full. ... It's been disheartening to have to do this, and then receive very last minute cancellations (or worse, no shows). For this rest of this month, we're asking for 24 hours' notice for all cancellations. For cancellations within the 24 hour period we will be asking for a 50% payment of your appointment cost. We appreciate your support in this.

We’re so excited here at La Bimbi because we have not one, but three little La Bimbi babies on the way This means we’re also looking for two new stylists to join our family! ... We’re overjoyed that our family is growing in so many ways and we’re looking for stylists who have a genuine passion for hairdressing and teamwork. At La Bimbi, you can feel our fun, stylish and welcoming vibe as soon as you walk in the door. Our clients are continuously telling us about how they love visiting us because they can simply be themselvesand that means either chilling out, chatting with us, laughing with us and even having those heartfelt team moments. And of course, we also never skimp on quality, so our cuts are exceptional, our blow dries to die for and our washes are the most relaxing experience you can get to break up the day. We have removed all magazines, drinks will be served in disposable cups & our famous neck, head & shoulder massage is unfortunately on hold for now. Each station is sanitised after every service.Door handles, basins & the eftpos machine is cleaned after each use. ... We ask that if you are feeling unwell or display flu like symptoms to phone our reception staff to reschedule your appointment. 03.01.2022 #StrongerTogether especially as we celebrate the end of the year. Yesterday we had a very special Christmas party. There were so many emotions as we celebrated our strength and resilience through a challenging year. We were blessed to celebrate with Katrina and her wonderful team at @shinehairdressing. We’re so proud that as one industry in Canberra, we can support each other and band together through the ups and downs. Collaboration over competition has always been at ou...r core. I want to pay a very special thanks to my amazing team and all our amazing hairdressing industry friends for banding together this year, especially when all of us were forced to close earlier in the year, with no idea what may come. 01.01.2022 Hey, there! I’m Gess, owner and stylist here at La Bimbi. In a year that has caused such disruption, I wanted to introduce myself and check in on you! When COVID-19 changed our world earlier this year, it’s no secret that businesses like mineand so many peoplewere hit hard. I know of many amazing stylists who lost their jobs with no reflection on their talent, but owing to the awful circumstances we found ourselves in. With 24 hours notice, I had to shut my doors and work... hard to make sure my amazing team and clients were OK. I’m privileged and honoured to say my team were exceptional as we rallied together to check in on our clients and each other, as well as look at ways to ensure our salon survived. Looking back now, all our hard work paid off and it’s so uplifting to come into a thriving salon each day! Thank you for all your support over this year (and for the last 30+ years!) and for allowing us to be part of your lives! Whether you visit us regularly, occasionally or simple follow us here on social media, we are so grateful for you! (Check out my next post too for some exciting news, too!)
