25.01.2022 PLEASE SHARE: New locations and times have been added to the contact tracing advice. The government is asking everyone to check the updated locations and times carefully: www.qld.gov.au//coronavirus/current-status/contact-tracing If you’ve been at any of the venues at the specified times, get tested and follow the advice on the Queensland Health website about your isolation period.

23.01.2022 BREAKING: Greater Brisbane will go into a three-day lockdown and restrictions will come into place across Queensland after cases of COVID-19 transmission were detected in the community. From 5pm today, residents in the local government areas of Brisbane, Ipswich, Moreton Bay, Logan and Redlands can only leave home for one of these four reasons: 1. To buy essentials such as groceries or medications... 2. Work or study if you can’t do either from home 3. Exercise in your local area 4. Healthcare or to provide help, care or support Residents in locked down areas must wear masks when not at home, including in ride shares, on public transport and in workplaces. Cafes, pubs and restaurants will be open only for take-away service. Schools in the locked down areas will remain open for children of essential workers. For the rest of Queensland, masks should be worn while indoors except at home, and private gatherings are restricted to 30 people. To keep our most vulnerable Queenslanders safe, aged care, correctional centres, hospitals and disability service providers will close to visitors across the state. The restrictions will be reviewed on Wednesday evening. These measures are tough, but they are important to keep our community safe.

Can't make both, just come along for as long as you can to either event, both are free!

17.01.2022 Feedback sessions currently underway with the Department of Transport and Main Roads. So if you can, go along to @kenmorevillage this morning to have your say on the Kenmore roundabout upgrade. The project team will be there 9am-12pm.

16.01.2022 Fabulous morning cleaning up and celebrating IWD, thank you to all our volunteers for coming out and giving up your time.

14.01.2022 Please remember you MUST wear a mask if you're leaving your home during lockdown from 6pm tonight until 6pm Monday. That’s whether you’re working, exercising, at the supermarket or just leaving your home. Stay safe everyone!

09.01.2022 Well done Brisbane, here’s the latest update

04.01.2022 Residents in the Moggill Electorate are worried about the wilderness sites in our area that Council is considering for creating off-road cycle facilities. People are supportive of more recreational activities at our grassy parks and ovals but they have real concerns about our nature reserves. As a Labor representative in our area, I have made a submission to Council to outline concerns about Mount Coot-tha Reserve, Gap Creek Picnic Area, ... Gold Creek Reserve, Anstead Bushland Reserve, Primley Street Park, Kholo Bushland and Changing Mountain. If you would like a copy of my submission, please let me know.

02.01.2022 A clear message from Labor...we’re #OnYourSide
