24.01.2022 Busy days at Kindy .... exploring and learning individually and collaboratively. We incorporate STEAM to practice problem solving, coding, Japanese (using the ELLA program on our iPads) and enjoy playing together outside.

20.01.2022 Has anyone else been cleaning out cupboards at home the last few weeks and found old treasures ? I found this old game from my childhood . It’s called Pick up Sticks .. great for hand eye coordination . The idea is you pick up a stick at a time without moving any other sticks . Wonder if our kindy kids will like this !

13.01.2022 On Monday 11 May 2020, Kindy, Prep, Year 1, Years 11 & 12 students will return to their state school or community kindergarten, joining childre...n of essential workers, vulnerable children, and children in designated Indigenous communities. All other students will continue to learn at home. If low transmission rates continue, students in Years 2 10 will return to school from Monday 25 May. 11.01.2022 Thank you to Abby and the many family volunteers who helped out at our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle fundraiser on Saturday. At our daily planning session this morning, the children suggested we have a kindy hotdog party. They came up with a plan and used some of the leftover supplies to make "hotdogs". Delicious!

09.01.2022 Wooden blocks are the perfect open ended play tool for children to practise problem solving, engineering, creative thinking and maths concepts. Not to mention cooperative social skills . These wooden blocks have been used at our kindy by children for more than 60 years!

Creating their own instruments, brainstorming their playlist, finding the perfect location for their stage and audience to sit, making Tickets. "We're famous!"... The Teachers enjoyed the day as much as the children.

02.01.2022 We enjoyed having a campfire on one of the last of the chilly Winter mornings recently. A familiar experience for some children whilst for other children this was there first camp fire. Everyone enjoyed toasting and eating marshmellows. Thanks Jim and Micah for organising

01.01.2022 Many of our 2020 children returned to Kindy this week for a Reunion and one last play at kindy. ( our older kindy children still enjoy coming back for a visit too ! ) It is so good to see everyone again and hear happy stories that everyone has made a brilliant transition into 2021!
