14.01.2022 Hi friends, It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the sudden passing of Laburnum Cricket Club legend, Graham Daff, on Wednesday this week. Graham was a much loved man beyond cricket, yet there will be many memories associated with cricket which will be re-told and celebrated over the coming days and weeks. ... Graham played 314 games, over almost 40 years, and holds several virtually unassailable LCC records. As a mark of respect, Laburnum CC will hold a minutes silence at all senior matches this weekend and Senior players will wear black armbands. Graham Daff's funeral service is to be held next Tuesday at 2pm, at One Community Church, in Surrey Road, Blackburn. Regards, Geoff ==== Geoff Olsen President, LCC
13.01.2022 Its been a long time coming, but if you look you will notice a new, smart, grey hanging rail in Clubroom 2, which will be used to mount our past premiership flags. (You could say its taken ~50 years because we had to get Clubrooms first!) Youre a champion Ged Askew for lending your tools and generously giving of your time to enable this to happen. I encourage everyone to have a look over the coming weeks as we progress with this project to present some of our Club memorabilia.
