25.01.2022 Thought it was time to make some new pincushions while I am awaiting new stock to turn up. With this new lot, I have introduced a new size of 2.5" which are the new small with the old small now being called a medium size. These little pincushions are ideal for your travel pillow and are so cute.

21.01.2022 Welcome to 2019. To start the year I am bringing you some items that arrived yesterday. Something a little different this time in the form of scissors, lights and pins. All can be found on the misc page.

21.01.2022 The right Gutermann Display unit turned up yesterday so will be topping up some of the colours for both the 30 and 50 now and the rest later in the year. Also managed to order some Finca Bolillos in from Presencia. In 40, 60. 80 and 100. Though some of the colours in 40 and 60 were not available. Well, I can only get what I can get. And would people stop telling me how to run my shop thanks? I know what I am doing to get this shop to where I wish it to be.

17.01.2022 The new Sajou threads are now available on the website and I am about to order more colours in the Calais Cocoons and also Fil Au Chinois in Optical Ecru. Fil Au Chinois is a great substitute for Brok who have gone out of business. Cocoons are a great substitute for DMC 80. I am also ordering in a few misc items which I will tell you about later.

12.01.2022 What a great week of workshops and friendship at the 40th AGM. A week of birthday surprises. Been busy today adding a new page of some pre-loved bobbins that have come my way. Find them under the bobbin heading. Selling sets of 4 and 6, all spangled. Also, the second-hand page under Misc has a few things up. And I shall be adding some new preloved books soon.

11.01.2022 Finally got all my Gutermann 50 and 30 threads up. I can guarantee that I have at least 3 reels of each colour with many having 8 reels of each colour. I am slowly topping them up all to 8 reels but it does get costly and there is also the fact that sometimes the company does not have the colours in. Many I already ordered in are on backstock. Both 50 and 30 come in 42 wonderful colours. I also have 35 colours of Gutermann Silk in now, I am still awaiting my white colour but ...it is on order and with luck, I might get it in before May and have the full 36 colours. 07.01.2022 Due to a huge mistake with my Guterman thread order, instead of having to send it back they have offered it to me for half price. 60 Beautiful colours in NE50 (100mts) which I will be selling 3 of each colour in lots of 3 for $6.00. That works out to $2,00 a reel. Ideal for a larger project.

06.01.2022 New arrival of Valdani 50wt and 60wt in some new colours including some variegated 60wt colours. Sadly some of the colours I am selling have seemed to have sold out from where I get them from. Let's hope they get back soon and how wonderful would be to be to able to get white in again. Have not seen in it in ages to buy. After my Pipers order has arrived, I have to stop buying for a while but once tax time comes in July and Tax Man refunds me I am ordering some more Goldschild in 8 new colours. Though I may sneak in a Birch order soon. . . sneaky sneaky

04.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who has liked my facebook page. Over 100 now... still busy making more kidney pillow cloths and will be adding more second hand stuff to sell soon on the website. I hope you had a great Christmas and a safe new year... all my thoughts go out everyone who is the fire zones...

03.01.2022 Finally, all the Gutermann 50 thread now catalogued and packaged into lots of 3 and also all my new colours of Gutermann 30 thread are now up on the website. I had to make my own colour chart for the 30 which took some time but that is me trying to make sure I have a colour chart for every thread. Still awaiting the proper display case I originally ordered. You would think Gutermann thread would have the same colours for all their threads, Valdani does but seems Gutermann does not. Would have made life a lot simpler if they did.
