20.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder to all the H.FITERS. Its so important that we all do our bit in adhering to our strict standards whilst the restrictions are being eased. We appreciate your support and cooperation during this period. If you are unwell, do not train. If you have had contact with a COVID case, please self isolate. Keep your distance whilst training, sanitise your hands before and after each session, get in and get out & dont linger around the training area, no hig...h fives, just a smile and wink.. & ofcoarse... No towel, no train. Please follow these steps and help us prevent a second wave and lets keep H.FIT a COVID safe facility.

19.01.2022 Rotation matters. . If you play a rotational based sport which requires twisting and changes in direction like waterpolo, surfing and specific throwing sports.. training with ROTATION really MATTERS!. . Why train in one plane of motion (Forward and back) when in life and in sport we need to be 4 dimensional athletes...(Forward, reverse, Lateral: LEFT & RIGHT).... . Being a 4D athlete requires a special program which encompasses some key movements. Rotation is one of those key movements! In this episode I work on the TRANSVERSE PLANE of MOTION. There is lots of twisting and rotating going on which mimics the style of play we encounter in the pool. 18.01.2022 Progression is key > . . This is the final clip for the @waterpoloaus X H.FIT Collab. I've really enjoyed this 12 week journey and I'm thankful that I've been able to provide some useful resources to the @waterpoloaus kids who didnt have access to a pool, coach or gym. .... In this final session I join the dots of the program and show you how it all blends together with my progression training system. Progression is the most important tool to success and It needs to be used across all training programs. Build the foundation, make the structure strong, fast, mobile and powerful then when you master it, add a layer of progression to keep moving forward. . Its not easy training outdoors during winter, it takes a tough breed and a lot of focus. . 16.01.2022 Holy fuck.. we did it! We just wrapped up a 11 week Program. 5 Days a week live, lots of coffee, plenty of good vibes and the odd mumble and tongue tie (mostly from locky ). . We showed COVID who was boss and are stoked at how well the program went despite lots of obstacles and challenges. . Massive shout out to @samdavey21 for helping all of the crew and us keep our minds calm with your epic YOGA sessions! We aint done.. 14.01.2022 Great news H.FITERs! From Monday we will be back outdoors doing large scale group training sessions. We have been doing 5 live workouts per week for the last 9 weeks. The results and attendance has been epic and we are proud of what we all achieved despite the odds. We will still continue a couple of live session each week for those who enjoyed training from home. 12.01.2022 A lot has happened in the last few years! Highs and crazy lows but Ive managed to find my way and Im happy to have my health back to 100%. The best part about this crazy journey is that I have been able to create a program and environment where Im now able to positively help others and teach them the life lessons Ive learnt over the many years. A lot of females are concerned as they believe strength training will result in unwanted muscle gain and a bulky physique. This is incorrect, doing strength training + conditioning work will boost your calorie expenditure, therefore helping burn body fat which will help you lean up. 03.01.2022 R U OK? We all have our struggles and go through funks, Even us as trainers have our struggles. Its totally normal and ok to feel shit, anxious and down. You are not alone. . If you are going through a funk, Talk to a mate and if you dont feel like talking, go and exercise! Run it out, swim it out, spin it out, sweat it out or do some resistance training. It has helped us get through some funks and its why we consistently train and move. Stretch your mind, go train.
