18.01.2022 As you are aware, we at the Lachlan River CO-OP provide you with the best produce that we can obtain from local wholesalers. We have never claimed differently. I did not want to believe what I had been told some time back but today I realised it was true. Some people advertise and sell produce as being organically and locally grown and charge a premium price, but they source it from the same wholesalers as we do. This is illegal and just plain wrong. You should know exactly what you are buying. These vehicles were loading everything from kale and lettuce to mushrooms and pumpkins. It is great produce as we sell it, but it's not organic.
