13.01.2022 2020 has been a year of uncertainty for everyone and such uncertainty is going to extend to the year 2021 hopefully only for the first half of the year. In fact, describing this year as uncertainty is a major understatement. Many around the globe have lost their life or their loved ones. Some have lost their job or business. Australia, even though has experienced and is experiencing Covid-19 outbreaks, is still one of the least impacted countries. However, the table can turn ...quickly against us if we let our guard down and become careless. We must stay prudent and don’t forget Coronavirus is still around. This year many weddings were rescheduled and wedding dress productions were greatly delayed. As we’re gradually moving back into some sort of normality, businesses like wedding venues, bridal shops and dress alterations have to be extra flexible and understanding towards brides and grooms. If we all play our part to be a responsible citizen or business, the impacts of Covid-19 on our daily life and wedding events could be minimised even if Covid-19 is here to stay longer than expected. Weddings can be normal as long as we all remember the fact that a new contagious virus is around and accept the reality of having a new norm of what is like to have a wedding event. This year our shop is staying open for most days throughout the Christmas and New Year break with the only closing days being: - Friday 25/12/2020 - Saturday 26/12/2020 - Thursday 31/12/2020 - Friday 1/1/2021 - Saturday 2/1/2021 Our preparations for 2021 are to embrace uncertainty as part of life; to stay calm at all time and refrain from unnecessary panic; to prepare mentally that outbreaks can happen anytime and anywhere; to stay healthy by eating well and sleeping well; and to follow advice from health authorities and the governments. As a closing remark for 2020, we’re grateful that things aren’t as bad as initially anticipated. We look forward to a better and a more prosperous 2021.
