20.01.2022 Lots of fun was had on the Preschool Excursion in the Botanical Gardens this morning. The children took part in a dinosaur hunt, saw the big crocodile, had a play in the playground and we all shared a yummy picnic for morning tea!

15.01.2022 Room 5 had a special visit from Isabella's pet chickens, the children were so excited and really enjoyed patting them and watching them eat oats. Thank you very much to Isabella's parents for bringing them in and giving us the opportunity to play with your pet chickens.

09.01.2022 Waist-high brooms, their handles just a couple feet long, hang on the classroom wall beside dustpans and wash basins. Step stools line the mini-kitchen cabinets and child-height sinks. Green drinking glasses sit stacked on shelves alongside sets of tiny tables and chairs. Beverley Wolff, head of the Montessori School of Pullman, says many young students enjoy the "practical areas" of the classroom where they can work on household tasks like sweeping or preparing snacks.

09.01.2022 ***Donations can be placed in the Purple tub near reception*** It’s time once again for our annual Foodbank Christmas Hamper Food Drive appeal which will take place this year from the 1st to 28th of November 2020. Our Christmas Hamper Food Drive is a time where we as a community can come together to give back to those who will do it tough during this festive season. After such a tough year dealing with Covid-19 your contribution could make such a difference for so many peopl...e. This year we are seeking any non-perishable food items including tinned meat, tinned vegetables, pasta and pasta sauces, as well as Christmas products like fruit cakes and tinned hams. Remember, it is through your support and donations from within your workplace/organisation that allows people in need some relief over the Christmas period.

08.01.2022 The room 4 Children were doing some exercise yesterday while having fun. The Children were climbing up and down the monkey bars exercising both their arms and legs at the same time. They were able to hang for a few seconds, stretching their whole body and developing their muscles.

04.01.2022 Dear Families, Just a friendly reminder for those children that have a returned consent form and are attending the Preschool Excursion to the Botanic Gardens tomorrow, Wednesday 30 September 2020. Your child must wear a La Crèche T-shirt for the excursion. (T-shirts can be purchased from reception for $15 if your child needs a new one.)... Children must also be wearing closed shoes and a hat and have a water bottle to take with them on the excursion. Please ensure your child is signed in and upstairs by 8.30am to have morning tea, before they leave for the excursion. Thank you!
