19.01.2022 Huge excitement this week at Lacuna as we head towards the Australian Law Awards on Friday evening. Our little idea from a couple of years ago that became Lacuna is now a finalist for Innovator of the Year (Company). We are really excited to be nominated alongside other firms and organisations who are changing the way law is delivered and grateful to all of the people who have helped us get to this point. ... We have been nominated as a finalist amongst a really impressive group of both traditional and new law firms and businesses as Innovator of the Year (Firm) at the Women in Law Awards 2020 hosted by Lawyer's Weekly! It is a great (almost) end to what has been both an exhilarating and challenging year. Every day we get to work with amazing lawyers and people building their dreams and businesses - it is wonderful to play a role and we thank them for trusting us to b...e part of it. A huge shout out to all of the people who have supported, encouraged and helped us along the way! 01.01.2022 Meet Bronwyn, Co-Founder, Lacuna Legal Providers. I am a lawyer admitted to practice in Queensland and New York. In 2005 I was expecting our first child so moved to a business development and marketing role in Hong Kong. In 2008 I was promoted to manage the marketing team across five offices in Asia. After returning to Australia with our family in 2012, I worked as a national business development specialist focusing on clients and industry groups.... I left in 2017 to help lawyers and firms by coaching people to build sustainable and enduring careers in law without sacrificing other aspects of their lives. Through this experience, and long discussions with many generous people about how things could be better, our plan for Lacuna began to form. I am happiest at work when helping others to progress their careers, achieve their goals and build successful and rewarding careers and businesses. Seeing people succeed gives me the greatest career satisfaction it is why I do what I do.
