16.01.2022 Anyone who knows me, or has followed my business journey closely knows that I support RUOK Day. It will forever be close to my heart, with know friends, family and even myself finding it hard to say that we are not okay. For fear of judgement For fear of the awkward silence For fear of not knowing how to explain it... For those that know someone and don't know how to avoid the awkward silence. Just say to them, it's OK. And that if they want to talk that's OK and if not that's also OK! Just please, don't leave them alone, they need you, they need you to be there for when they realise they are not okay, and that it's OK. If your that person, take your time, talk to the air if you have to! Cry or stair at a wall. You will know when it's time to let someone in. To push it away or run from it. Find someone you trust and confident with and just sit. If you are ready the words will come. Know you are not alone, it's not the end, and you will be okay, your just not okay now. She even took our advice and painted the right hand wall with chalkboard paint for some little messages or shopping lists she may want to jot down Our client was generous enough to provide a picture when she had filled it up and set it up for use!
