18.01.2022 Great news that Bruce Beresford will direct a film version of the stage show "Ladies in Black". The Age (page 26) and Herald Sun (page 16) March 23rd 2017. It apparently has Screen Australia funding, which is great. I am sure there will also produce a cd of the sound track. But I want the soundtrack of the original cast - like now! Or maybe - like THREE MONTHS AGO!
12.01.2022 I read an update about the film "Ladies in Black" saying it will be released on September 2018. Yay!!! There is also a great article in the Weekend Australia Review page 1, 8 and 9 (July 28-29 2018 edition). I cannot wait to see a trailer for this movie. The photos in the newspaper look terrific.
10.01.2022 I received a message back from Tim Finn's admin manager and they do plan to record this musical in time. "Thanks for your interest in the show and its music. We are working on the idea of releasing a soundtrack. It's definitely something we're keen to see happen. Keep watching Tim's Facebook page for news. Thanks!"

03.01.2022 I received this encouraging message from Tim Finns' manager on Tuesday Febraury 21st 2017: Hi sorry for slow reply. Thanks for your support of the production. It's really appreciated. We're definitely listening to the requests for a live cast recording and are still investigating ways we can make it happen. Will update when we have something more concrete. Cheers!
