After using a borrowed 6’6 version in 2015 to win both the Open and Locals divisions at the Margaret river Classic, @chrisross__ ordered one for himself. You’ll often see him still ripping on it out at Surfers point.

She rode a 7’0 in the first round. What you didn’t see was the afternoon prior when she took the board for a test drive, it was big, significantly bigger than the contest day in the images here. The @WSL had called the men’s off that arvo as the onshore blew up. I pulled in to the car park to watch a lone figure padd...le out late. The distinctive red tail the give away, big, dark unruly Margs and just Courtney. She took half a dozen big bombs and smashed them. Courtney rode her regular shapers boards to victory but I’ll still claim riding my board in the early stage set up her win.
