07.01.2022 Its our 10th birthday WOW what a ride! Take a trip down memory lane with me. 2010 I was 24 years old and I decided it was time to start my journey as salon owner. ... With the help of my beautiful husband we gutted our 2 car garage and made Chic Hair studio. Boy did I have a lot to learn lol but I had found my love, being a salon owner was who I was born to be. Fast forward 5 years I knew I wanted more so I focused on growing the business and with that came a rebrand and Lady and the Hair was born. We out grew out of our home space and moved into Bakery square to the salon you know and love now. The last 10 years has brought me so much joy. Iv found my passion for teaching my team all I know about hair, we have won awards, continued to grown our skills, look after you beautiful people and so much more. Iv had the opportunity to meet so many beautiful people that have helped shape me as a person and business owner both team members and clients that Im now lucky to call friends. This job has taken me all over the world where iv been able to meet a group of salon owners who have become my absolute rocks and gained friendships from them that I am so thankful for in general but also at times like this. Lady and the Hair has allowed me to meet my idols with in the industry. I have had so many mentors that I admired and have helped me grow my salons to what they are today. So after 10 years with me and my garage we are now 2 salons, a Barbershop and a team of 25 WoW what a ride I honestly never in my wildest dreams thought that little salon would take me here but it has and I couldnt be anymore thankful to everyone who has helped me along the way. Big thank you to my Brad, Mum, Dad and whole family who are there for me every step of the way. They are the first to put there hand up to fold towels, help with Renos ect. My incredible team past and present but especially the team we have now. You guys are my cheerleaders though the good times and the bad. Thanks for always wanting to be better than we were yesterday making this journey possible for us all. We really are apart or something special. The amazing Redken team who believe in me and push me to always be better I couldnt have chosen a better business to partner with. Last but not least sour amazing clients you guys are simply the best! You are fun, loyal and our family. Without you we are nothing and everything we do is to be the best we can possibly for you.
