20.01.2022 2014 'A-grade' Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon at each end of the rainbow. Perhaps this is a sign that we'll make it into Grange this vintage...
19.01.2022 We had a celebrity visit during harvesting today. Meet "Rusty" who starred as a puppy a few years ago in the Australian movie, 'Red Dog'. Was lovely to meet you Rusty and thanks for your help today :-)
18.01.2022 Apparently I wasn't the only one doing an inspection of the Shiraz tonight :-)

01.01.2022 Here's a Summer treat to try out this long weekend - Rose Sorbet! Thanks Vintage Cellars for the recipe (albeit adapted). You will require a DRY Rose for this recipe which is not something easy to come by... fortunately we can recommend one and they don't come much drier than our own Lady Bay Vineyard Cabernet Rose. - 2* bottles of Lady Bay Vineyard Cabernet Rose... - 1 cup of water - 1 cup of sugar - Fresh mint for garnish *one bottle for the sorbet, another to drink while making it Pour yourself a glass of Rose. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is boiling, then remove from heat. Let the liquid cool completely - pour yourself another glass of Rose while you wait. Once cooled, place mixture in the fridge to chill for at least 30 mins. Probably about time you topped up your glass of Rose too. Once chilled, add the mixture to your ice cream maker and churn according to directions. Add the sorbet to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours. Finish off the second bottle of Rose then have a nap. Serve the sorbet and garnish with mint.
