24.01.2022 The little 'Mocha' speckles are super cute as they continue to grow at Ladybrook. A very successful Speckle Calving first season this year, has given us an amazing variety of speckle calves... so much so, that we look forward to seeing what next season brings!

22.01.2022 Everyone loves fresh cut grass! The mums group having an afternoon catch-up, chewing the grass, shooting the sh!te... you know? cow things! Can't wait for that rain though! amiright?

21.01.2022 New customers Sam & Matthew taking delivery of their meat order. 25 kg boxes flying out the door this weekend to a lot of happy customers! Can't wait to see all the amazing things cooked up with this awesome Ladybrook Beef!

20.01.2022 Another interesting Speckle Park colour combination, fathered by our incredible snow white Speckle Park Bull - Nobel Prince - birthed to our black Brangus Mother, who was born to a red Santa Gertrudis Grandmother... Resulting in this incredible Red Speckle Park cross! Ain't Genetics a funny thing!?... Ladybrook Farm now has 10 Speckle Park calves on the ground this season born and bred on-site, and Stay At Kirro guests are loving interacting with all of them as they play around the Farmstay house!

18.01.2022 The Speckle Ladies Enjoying a bite of hay this afternoon. After all the cloudy/rainy/overcast days of late, the blue sky is a nice change!

15.01.2022 Big thanks to Brian Backshall for the loan of his Speckle Park Bull - 'Six Star Retribution' - to cover our Brangus heifers for the season! He's settled in nicely, and is content on walking around with the ladies and tucking into our nice green pasture. Looking forward to seeing his offspring in seasons to come! ... He's an Impressive bull - what a BEAST!

15.01.2022 Is there a better sight than a field full of freshly made round bales! We have to take advantage of the hay making conditions whilst we can. These will end up in the shed until winter! Hopefully some more rain blows through and we can make a few more batches this season!

13.01.2022 "Don't mind me - I'll get my own dinner tonight" You can always rely on Horses to be cheeky... especially when food is involved!

12.01.2022 Another Day, Another Cattle Drive... Ollie taking our Speckle Park mumma's and babes back home after a brief checkup. CedarGrove ASH stock Horses Rhina Spin looking sensational in the afternoon sunshine too.... Our little spot in the Scenic Rim by:- Katherine O'Brien Equine Photography (AWESOME!)

08.01.2022 Spring has Sprung... and it's only August! This new Mumma drew the short straw with calf-sitting duties today... looking after 7 week old babies while her friends grazed nearby! I hope she gets paid well, because when they all started playing, it was total chaos!... Darn cuties though!

06.01.2022 Our little almost orphan calf has spent the week bonding with his first time mum, they are almost ready to return to the herd now. Like all our Speckles this season, the colours are 'Speckletaculor' Jet black and Snow white provide amazing contrast to his back and tummy... and that long Snow White tail is adorable! Don't you just love seeing him hop around?

06.01.2022 Another Example of genetics skipping a generation, and showing up in their grandchildren. This little boy, like his step sister a few weeks back, has the red colouring from his Grandmother's Santa heritage. The Red Speckle is certainly unique!

05.01.2022 Socks - our youngest working dog in training - gets some practice herding with some of this seasons new calves! generally a game of cat and mouse to see who makes the first move, everyone was well behaved (this time) How about this springtime weather though?

05.01.2022 The first of our Speckle Park calves born to our Bull 'Nobel Prince' is still looking spectacular as he grows up at Ladybrook farm. Our speckle park calves have been such a hit with guests staying lately, with a face like that - how could they not? SO CUTE!

03.01.2022 We found this little guy hiding in the long grass near @stayatkirro after his (first time) mum had birthed him and had wandered off with complications birthing his twin sister. Unfortunately, his twin did not survive the birth, despite the best effort from the local Vet. Fortunately, after a little perseverance and determination, he and his mum are now reunited again, and this picture came just after he got his first belly full of milk.... Never a dull moment on the farm!

02.01.2022 Springtime Squad Goalz! Can't get any better than this right? Their mothers were all off feeding, so the Stay At Kirro calves decided to all hang out together for some sun and fun! Looks like the place to be right?

01.01.2022 Amazing collection of farm fresh, premium quality, beef packs from Ladybrook Farm going to some happy homes in the Scenic Rim and Gold Coast! Special thanks as always to Kane and the team The Butcher Co Boonah & Kalbar, Highchester Meats Gleneagle and Haack Logistics Group Did you get your hands on our beef packs this time?
