24.01.2022 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder' I cannot emphasize this enough. So many times when I've had clients families or friends join in for treatment/consult, my clients become confused with what they want, as naturally, they ask everyone else what they think.... Most of the time, the decision is directed towards me and my client, which is perfect. Other times, families/friends would strongly voice their opinion and tell my clients what they should do (from their own previous experiences or what they've seen others have had) without thinking about anything else otherwise, and sometimes it is different to what my clients want. This creates confusion for my clients as they now doubt what they want thinking it is wrong and are willing to go with what their family/friend says even if it's not related to their concern Enter LadyGrace My usual behaviour would be to let the family/friend get it off their chest, then turn to my client and say 'This is your treatment, everyone has different opinions, but most importantly, what do YOU want. Theyre saying you need to get this treated but youve told me that isn't your concern, so theres no point for me to treat that because you will be unhappy with the results. This is your face, you're going to live with it for the rest of your life, what do YOU want, and I'll give you my professional opinion on how to get those results for you'. It's as simple as that.
