Weve been very busy doing our Covid-19 hospitality and hygiene courses, giving our little cafe a thorough clean and getting ready to welcome you all back. . . Please note that as per government regulations, we are only permitted 12 people in the cafe at one time. We respectfully ask that you adhere to the 1.5m socially distancing rule and follow any instructions given by staff. 17.01.2022 Well as they say, all good things must come to an end! As some of you already know, we were planning on closing our doors on 13th of September, but, weve had a little change of plans as our Laura went into labour on the weekend 6 weeks early. She delivered a healthy little man on Sunday morning, and Mum and Bub are doing greatBut.....this has left us in a bit of a pickle without a barista, so weve made the tough decision to close earlier than expected. This weekend is you...r last chance to get some Lady Marmalade goodness in your life Ive agonised over this decision for months, and we will miss so many of you, but I feel its time to get my life back a little and move in a slightly different direction. We havent sold as I wanted to keep the name weve fought so hard to build up over the last 6 years, so its not goodbye forever, but Ill share details on what Ill be up to a little later. 03.01.2022 To our wonderful customers, a lot of whom are like family to us now, I firstly want to say a massive and heartfelt thank you for continually supporting us any way you can, it means the world to us Ive lost count of how many times Ive rewritten this post this week, things have been changing so rapidly. But, as of last night we have some clear guidelines to follow. As of today we are required to be strictly TAKE AWAY only. We can also offer driveway service if youd rather n...ot come in, please call through all orders on 97316 791 and well have them ready for you. If you do come in to order, we ask that you please adhere to the 1.5m social distancing guidelines, wed also ask that you wait for your order well away from the counter and any other customers. We are also gearing up to be able to offer deliveries hopefully by the end of the week, which will of course include cake boxes filled with your favourites, and take home meals, but well let you know more about that as we get things sorted. 03.01.2022 These are unprecedented moments we face. Moments we were not prepared for, but now must face as best we can, setting aside plans and preparations for the future for the sake of our communitys health and wellbeing. In light of this, we are sad to announce the temporarily closure of our dining area, which we brought into effect as of Monday 30 March, 2020. We are closely following the recommendations set forth by the Australian Government and Department of Health, and will be... following their advice as it is released. Now wed like to talk about what we CAN do, and our path forward from here. Its in our blood to want to offer comfort in the form of food at this time - we couldnt imagine not cooking every day and sharing it with you! So, we will be offering a new weekly delivery service to Bunbury, Busselton and Manjimup with our cake boxes and heat-at-home meals on board. Youll be able to order these items in our new online store (coming soon!) along with a bunch of other goodies that well have on offer. You will, of course, still be able to make collections from our shop in Kirup if youre local. We want to thank you deeply and sincerely for your patronage, your support, of Lady Marmalade to date. We will miss the moments we have with you, the chats over the counter, the weekly visits from our faithful cake lovers - rest assured, were doing everything we can to keep our business alive and return to those days. 01.01.2022 Just a little update on where were at at Lady Marmalade with the easing of some restrictions tomorrow. . . We have decided not to open back up this week Im sorry to say. I havent taken this decision lightly and have agonised over what is the right thing for us to do, but ultimately felt that it didnt work for us to open this week. I am really sorry if you were hoping to join us this week, but we will keep you posted as soon as we have a new start date, and we promise well see you all again very soon for cake, coffee and other delicious things Stay safe and well be back with you soon X
