24.01.2022 The good old Jandal.....you know when I came to Australia and people asked me why we named them Jandal instead of Thong (lol that word always cracks me up and still can’t say in without laughing) or flip flops. I didn’t know as had just always called it a Jandal without even knowing why or questioning my parents why it was called this. So I googled it (good old Mr google lol). This is what I found out....the word Jandal is an abbreviation of ‘Japanese Sandal’ and is actually... a trademark of the Skellerup company one of the earliest manufacturers of the modern design in New Zealand. I was like wow, now I know the story behind the humble Jandal.....although many Kiwis would prefer to go bare foot, the jandal helps protect your feet from prickles and the hot pavement. We designed this piece as we felt it was a big reminder of home. We have small, medium and large of this design and the prices range from $70-$350. 21.01.2022 Go the AB’s, great game today. Love our spirit. To celebrate I thought I’d share this piece newly completed and off to a new home in the next couple of days when it’s new owner picks it up. Isn’t she beautiful.....couldn’t be more prouder to be a Kiwi in Aussie right now. One of the biggest wins over Australia EVER hehehe. Love our country and what we achieve for a small nation. what do you think....I love how this piece came together.

16.01.2022 Just though I’d share with you all our finished small Tui......just a little creation that I whipped up in a couple of days. Due it being the beginning of November and my birthday month, I thought I’d excitedly share with you what we have been looking into and planning. We have asked for your input into a name change (although LadyPaua will still be part of the expansion). So from your feedback, input and some debate we have decided on the name ‘House of Paua’. Hopefully this will incorporate the new products and themes we are looking at introducing. Can you guess what some of them might be

10.01.2022 Another piece newly completed, a medium Tui....to go along side the small Tui completed just recently. 06.01.2022 This design is one of my favs.....it’s called LOVE NZ. It came about from creating the LOVE piece and was about to start another fern. I put the fern on top of the LOVE as I came inside and when I put it down thought to myself, wow that’s really cool. Hit me up for prices and sizing.
