25.01.2022 We recently replaced the strainers on either side of this gate. Using Equine Wire instead of standard dog wire fence is a perfect way to keep small dogs contained inside!! Win Win!!

24.01.2022 Many thanks to the Lafferty Contract Fencing team for installing replacement fencing at Woolara Park. Our new concrete posts with solid plastic droppers in between are there for the long term!! Our front boundary has pine posts with 6 wires to discourage animal access

13.01.2022 New year and New jobs..... lots of variety already! We built an unloading ramp today in a paddock, last week was more rural fencing and over our Christmas break we created sets of children's natural play blocks...... these were very well received by the young owners!!

09.01.2022 We've recently completed this fence around a farm shed pad using equine mesh. Terrific stuff..... horse safe, dog proof, kid proof & easy to use for us! Double bonus
09.01.2022 Build us a fence they said. Replace that old boundary fence from here to there. Few trees may need clearing & there's a bit of water down the other end. A "bit" of water - thank goodness for suspension fences!!
08.01.2022 You know, the team at Lafferty Contract Fencing are contacted usually to build fences, make gates, slash a few acres or attend to property maintenance tasks, but this week we've stepped right outside the square & built two sets of stairs for Wide Bay Pro Wrestling. One set to access the ring & the other has removable step treads so the contestants can "use them to their advantage!!" Ouch!!!

07.01.2022 Our fencing team have been working all around the Gympie region lately..... Kilkivan, Veteran, Widgee, The Palms, Curra, Wallu & of course, Gympie itself! Over the last 12 months we've been south to Glasshouse Mountains, west to Goomeri, north to Glenwood and east to Wolvi. Our work provides us with lots of opportunities to meet some terrific people & see many places within this great region!

06.01.2022 So our work here is done. Thanks Kingaroy for the spectacular sunsets, the flat landscapes and the opportunity to work again with concrete fencing posts. We've installed brand new fencing on this property for their horses = Happy clients, Happy fencers!!

04.01.2022 Occasionally when our team are out & about building fences near waterways, one doesn't mind too much (especially on the warmer days!) if we happen to "fall" in, but this water doesn't look that inviting at present. Hopefully a bit of rain in the near future will get it moving again

02.01.2022 Sharing some of our moments during the past week while fencing west of Tin Can Bay. We discovered unexpected paddock mates and also realised we are probably not best friends anymore with little dogs who now have a fence to restrict their adventures!
