20.01.2022 Victor came and did a workshop on our farm on cool fires. He was excellent and he is generous with his time and his knowledge. Wouldn't it be great if we could get ears in high places to listen and implement at the very LEAST a trial of this management across our landscape. #davidlittleproud

16.01.2022 A show on the BBC last night highlighted the impacts of meat on the planet. Problem is, they left out this clip. The most important clip. As this shows, careful...ly managed livestock can sequester more carbon than the methane they emit. This farmer, Joel Salatin, took the organic matter in his soil from 1% to 8.2% using these methods. A huge increase. Whether we eat them or not, we need animals back on the land, carefully managed, to help pull down carbon and improve our soils (especially in the vast areas where we cannot grow crops and on degraded or abondoned land).
