25.01.2022 Wikipedia (what, you didn't think we knew all this stuff off the top of our head, did you?) says Irises are a 'showy' flower, but it's pretty apt.. because right now they are at their best! The name 'Iris' comes from the Greek word for Rainbow, which stems from the Greek Goddess of rainbows: Iris. Anyways... They're at their best now and in store today so come in and grab something to brighten up your life.

The buildings remain the same, though the petrol pumps have moved, a verandah added to the main shop and that stobie pole would now be in the middle of the car park.. Plus, some all-important paving appeared later for those wet, winter days. How's the mud! ... #Lyndoch

14.01.2022 LYNDOCH 'NOT TIP-TOP'? If you're a fan of Tip Top bread then we've got some bad news. Unfortunately, earlier this week we were informed by the company that Tip Top would no longer be providing their daily fresh bread delivery to Laganas due to the fact that Lyndoch was, in their words, 'Not worth the Petrol'. Obviously this is pretty disappointing. Tip Top have daily deliveries to Tanunda and Nuriootpa - but it seems the brief detour to our little corner of the world is not... worth their while. As a result, they will be slowing to deliveries 3 days a week from now on. We're disappointed with this situation because we always pride ourselves on making sure we have the best fresh produce for our customers. We've had a 42-year relationship with Tip Top, however we're going to have to assess where we go from here. We might not sell as much bread as the bigger shops, but there's something to be said for loyalty, right? Fortunately, Buttercup continues to provide us with fresh bread across their varied brands, delivered daily, so rest assured that we will continue to service the needs of Lyndoch and surrounds with fresh products!
