02.01.2022 { SANTA PHOTOS } Santa portraits are here! We are so excited to bring to you our 3rd annual Santa portrait sessions! As always these sessions are strictly limited. Bookings are essential. We have sessions available Sunday the 11th, 18th and 25th of November. Please message, email or call us to book your session. We are so passionate to bring you these sessions because Christmas is our favourite time of year! The first Christmas we had our son, he was in ICU and we were lucky ...enough to have Santa come visit us for his first Santa photo! The second year, our son’s Santa photo was taken at a shopping centre. Trying to keep a 1 year old happy whilst standing in a long queue in a busy, loud shopping centre to meet Santa, only to be given 2 minutes to get the perfect photo and no actual time to spend with Santa, was not what we had in mind. So we decided to do them ourselves. We thought of all the things we would want for our son when he gets to meet Santa that one time every year. Firstly, we wanted it to be an experience. A Santa experience, not just a Santa photo. Where children can tell Santa what they want for Christmas and read Christmas stories with him. Quiet, unrushed and exclusive time to just enjoy being with Santa! Next, we wanted it to look ‘Christmassy’. Classic, traditional Christmas like the old Christmas movies you watch every year. We didn’t want to see shops in the background. We wanted it to look like it came straight off a Christmas card or a Christmas movie! It had to look timeless and the same every year, so we could watch our babe grow in each photo. We wanted you to have a physical photo to hold in your hand. To put on display and have the children see and hold their portraits. Remembering their Santa experience. In a world of digital pictures, photos get locked away in our devices. Growing up we had photo albums and pictures hanging on most walls. We want to get back to that. We could go on forever! What we wanted for our family’s Christmas portraits, we bring to you.
