22.01.2022 Lagoon Bookclub July books Tuesday 28th July 7pm sharp 2 books reading: Lion by Saroo Brierly - lead by Leanne Where’d you go Bernadette - lead by Delyse ... No limits to our table numbers this month all being well with COVID restrictions in NSW Please RSVP to the email I will be sending out the week before. Please note the new menu and new prices due to Covid changes and survival in the business. Let’s support them

15.01.2022 August Meeting will be the final double header. The Elephant Whisperer and The Nowhere Child. Tuesday 25th August 2020 at 7pm at the Lagoon with a maximum of 10 attendees. Book facilitators are the first on the list so the next 8 will be first in. Email will come out a week before. Please rsvp to email when it arrives.

14.01.2022 Daisy & the Six is June’s book. We look like we actually make get to meet this month to discuss this book so start reading and look out for my email to rsvp mid month for Tuesday 23rd June 2020.

10.01.2022 Our next meeting is Tuesday 22nd September, The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. Numbers are capped at 10 so when I send out the RSVP email out this week please respond as quickly as possible. Lucy Long Paterson is the facilitator of this meeting.

10.01.2022 The movie depicting this book, starring Cate Blanchett, is currently screening in Australia (although I have seen this overseas late last year). Event Cinemas and Hoyts are currently showing, it is a movie not to be missed. Follow the COVID safe rules in place at these venues. Stay safe

06.01.2022 Edited Ignore the below instructions , we have had a few cancellations and so now we are on one table !!! Daisy and the Six Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine ... Tonight’s discussions , one table will discuss one book and the other table will discuss the other during entree, the facilitators of the book will swap over and then lead the discussion of the book during main. Contact me directly on phone or email if you need to change your RSVP. Looking forward to seeing you all tonight.

05.01.2022 So our cruise for next weekend was cancelled and now our bookclub meeting for March will need to be rescheduled (restaurants closed only open for takeaway until further notice) Keep safe bookies and don’t forget to be extra vigilant washing hands and social distancing and possibly self isolation. At least we have plenty to read
