22.01.2022 Hola Amigos. Renovations have been completed for now. What a busy week it’s been. So hence if you’re looking at booking weekends we are currently seeing bookings 2 weeks in advance or more. (Especially tables more than 2) this weekend is 99% and next is 75% booked. ... So our message is GET IN EARLY. Plan ahead. Phone bookings only 66561633. No facebook bookings!! Please do not message. Call and leave a message on above. There are two time slots only 5.00-5.30 or 7.00-7.30. Thursday to Monday. If you have been in greater Melbourne or Sydney. Please respect our decision to decline in your booking. Our staff safety and that of our other diners matter greatly. As per covid 19 regulations you must sign in I’d is required and please sanitise. 20.01.2022 Well the builders are still at it. Painters not here yet. So it is with heavy hearts that we announce that we will not open tonight, and it looks highly unlikely that we will open Friday night either as the kitchen and restaurant is dusty and dirty again from the internal works. Which means it’s another major clean up. Which is upsetting to say the least. (Hence the Friday night) the taco cart needs the kitchen to enable us to prep the food to cook and serve. We have so much fun with the taco cart out front it is a shame but none the less probably well worth the wait. So it will be a matter of watch this space for future opening times. D n M & Staff

19.01.2022 Progress Report The WALL is still up and is likely to be torn down early next week. Work is expected to be finished by Tuesday lunchtime. YAY. Which means we will reopen the doors on Thursday 9th of July 2020. ... Under current Covid 19 restrictions we have very limited tables available. If you have been somewhere like say Victoria or O/S please think carefully about dining in. All diners must sign in upon arrival and sanitise before entering. Remember bookings are essential and if something pops up or one or more of your party can’t make it. Let’s us know ASAP. Please call the restaurant for all bookings and leave a message 0266561633. There will be 2 booking time slots. 5-5.30pm and 7-7.30pm Thursday to Monday. I know many are excited and frustrated but I keep telling ourselves good things come to those who wait. (Especially Margaritas)

18.01.2022 Hola Amigos Remember Sunsafe as well as COVIDSafe It’s that time of year we want to remind you to go and get your skin checks done before Summer hits. ... One of us did and has to have some treatment. (Prevention is Better than Cure or Cure). Nothing major all good. Hence from Sunday 30/08/20 (including) we will close and hopefully reopen Thursday 03/09/20 but this will depend on recovery. If you wish to book for the Thursday night please do so and will confirm post treatment most likely to be the Wednesday. Weekends are looking busy as are most nights. Please plan in advance and book at least a week ahead if not two. (Especially for larger tables). If you have changes to your booking please call us as soon as you know so we can pass those seats onto someone on our wait list who are eagerly awaiting a call. 12.01.2022 Well it’s the long weekend and how busy are we in Emerald Beach. The weather is BEACH weather for sure. For those lucky enough to secure a table- if you have any change in numbers please let us know ASAP. This way we can maybe accommodate another booking desperately wanting to dine in. (Please note a $50/head charge Does apply if you don’t notify us of these changes in advance) Please note we are booking out roughly a week in advance for larger tables. So please plan ahead.... We want you to dine in as much as you do. While we do have waitlists for tables don’t forget takeaways are very popular for both food and cocktails. (Yes margaritas by the jug if you want). 11.01.2022 Well it’s good news @LaHacienda 101. We’re not saying that Reno’s are finished. But we are saying that we are open from Friday night of the long weekend with 2 sittings. One at 5-5.30 (please state which one) with the next one starting at 7.30pm. We have limited space and bookings of greater than 8 will have to be outside only. ALL booking please call the restaurant 66561633 please do not message us on Facebook. ... Plus a whole new menu. Covid restrictions will apply. We ask that you arrive in a timely manor as if your late then that will be tough luck as you will have to vacate the table at the same time. We are sure you understand. But more importantly if you have no show partners/friends or indeed you don’t show then we have no choice but to invoice your accordingly. If there are changes to your booking call us so we can change things. As per covid we need everyone to sign in on entry and sanitise. There is no bar service just table service if you are showing signs of illness then you will be refused entry. Don’t take it personal we have to follow our covid plan. Takeaways will be delivered to the front of our outside ding area. Please follow the signs. We may have missed something so watch for edits. Lol. 03.01.2022 Wow just wow. We so love our La Hacienda 101 family. Thankyou so much for your support the last two weekends. We managed to book out some nights within an hour of posting. We have to take another 3 week break for further renovations outside. (Can’t wait time share some photos) But we have to mention a special Thankyou to James who loves us so much he made a lego Mexican restaurant as he loves us well ok the food and Mexican soft drinks so much. 03.01.2022 Happy Birthday to us!! 8 years ago I decided to give up my job, pack my bags and move over 1000km away from family and friends to buy a restaurant. (Michael did the same a short time after- wow). This week is our birthday week where I opened the doors to this journey. What a journey it has been. Simply amazing, very rewarding and one I could never imagined ever happening. People often ask why Mexican? Why here?? ... Well it all just happened as if it was meant to be. After spending the summer cooking non Mexican and realising that it wasn’t going to work and talking to my dear friend Mike, I decided to do a theme night (Margarita/Mexican Monday’s) WOW what an idea that was. Then Shep & Allison knocked on our door one wet Monday night. Shep became our mentor guiding us into a world of authentic flavours and travels to Mexico each year. Michael and I could not be more appreciative of his guidance and input. La Hacienda 101 has blossomed by creating amazing flavours and delivering them to you by our amazing staff without whom it would not be possible. Not to forget the support of our growing family of La Hacienda 101 diners. We are very lucky to be a part in everyone else’s holidays. We have made life long friends both here and around the world especially Mexico. Which we are humbled to have met so many amazing people. Michael & I would like to say MUCHAS GRACIAS to everyone for your support/input/association over the last 8 years and we look forward to many more. We love La Hacienda 101 and the journey thus far. 01.01.2022 Hola Amigos Finally some family time. We have left the beach and EB behind, We drove all night after work to visit family as we know it is our only chance to do so for Xmas. Unfortunately not all family can make it thanks to Covid. Hence We are closed Saturday to Wednesday re-opening Thursday 22nd October. All bookings to be made via our restaurant phone. Please remember $50/HD for no show bookings unless we are notified at least 2 hrs prior to arrival. Have an awesome few days.
