My friend Deon, a husband and father to 2 boys, at 40 years old was diagnosed with Biphenotypic Leukemia, a mixture of both types of acute Leukemia. Deon is in his 4th round of Chemotherapy, while he awaits a bone marrow transplant. In this short time of 4 months since diagnosis he has had almost 40 life saving blood transfusions and at least a dozen other blood products. ...The blood banks supply is critically low of such a great life saving resource that costs NO MONEY to donate, just a little of your time. And I send this post hoping it reaches the conscious mind of anyone willing to roll up their sleeve and donate!!
