24.01.2022 Yesterday we said goodbye to our beautiful admin assistant, Bek Stock. She has been working with us for 3 years including being on the committee. Bek has just been an absolute super star in getting all the drab jobs done and organizing the smooth running of this ship! Thank you very much. We will miss you and wish you all the best in your next job! I may need your creative flare in the future so stay in touch!

23.01.2022 Under 8's At LDSS today we had chalk drawing, dinosaur eggs, mud painting, nature faces, friendship bracelets, crowns, bookmarks ribbon dancing, blocks, collage and crayons, threading and helicopter making. Not to mention fun with friends and teachers.

19.01.2022 For all our 2020 families today is our first get to know you play date. If your child is starting kindy with us this year you are more than welcome to come down to Laidley Lions Park at 9:30-10:30am for a play with other kindy friends to get to know each other before kindy starts.

16.01.2022 Our excitement for today was getting three new slabs of concrete poured under the building for some more storage. Thanks to the generosity of one of our families for laying it, helping out our community kindergarten and the fundraising efforts of our families past and present. They look great!

Its a quick and easy fund raiser to help support our Kindy :) 1.Bag up all your drink containers... 2.On a piece of paper write our code number, C10133455 3.Place this code in a zip lock bag and put it also in the bag with all the containers. 4.Then take it down to Laidley or Gatton Recycling centres. 5.Just leave your bagged containers in their big bins and they do the rest! 07.01.2022 UPDATE It has been announced that there will be pupil-free days for all Queensland schools from Monday 30th of March- Friday 3rd of April.... Please note that this does include all community kindergartens. This means that if you are not an essential worker and can keep your children at home, then please do so. We are following the advice of the Premier and the public health authorities and it is in the best interest for the health and safety of our Kindy kids, families and staff. For those of you who are essential workers, staff will continue to work from Kindy and you will be able to send your child next week if you have no alternative option. Thank you all for your ongoing support as we continue to navigate our way through this difficult situation.

03.01.2022 Today Milton and myself (with the help of Phoebe) had the honour of receiving the shield for Best Overall Float from the mayor for this years Spring Festival. It was a new experience for both of us being at the council chambers and we cant wait to display the shield at kindy for the next year! Thank you to all the families who supported us on our float and helping make it the Grand Champion float for 2019!

03.01.2022 Today we hung on our kindy fence our wonderfully made wreaths to show our respect to the ANZACs. Thank you to the children who made their own to add to our fence. They look great.

02.01.2022 Whats in the boxes you ask? Our new chairs!!!! Thank you to our parents fundraising efforts this year and last, we were able to purchase and update our chairs! Now all the children can use a big chair.

02.01.2022 We're excited that venomous creatures will be joining us at Kindy on Wednesday from 10 to 11am. All our Monday and Thursday group families (including siblings) are invited to attend the interactive, educational session by Deadly Australians. Just $4 per child to subsidise the cost of the visit.
